moviedude25 0 Posted October 22, 2006 I have made some good trade moves and now have a hell of a team. I don't know who to start this week at my WR and Flex positions. Any help is appreciated: Rules: RB & WR - 1pt for 10 yds, 6 per TD (scored any way) No points per reception Start 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex My known starting lineup this week: QB - P. Manning RB - T. Barber, C. Portis Have to decide from these players who will start and get the Flex: D. Driver (GB-WR) D. Jackson (SEA-WR) L. Maroney (NE-RB) B. Johnson (ARI-WR) D. Branch (SEA-WR) I took a flier out on Deion Branch in the 13th round of the draft not knowing he would end up on Seattle. Now with D. Jackson and D. Branch I don't know who to start out of the two I am leaning on starting: WR1: Driver WR2: Jackson Flex: L. Maroney Does either D. Branch or B. Johnson look like a better fit for my team this week? Thanks for the help! Leave your link and I'll answer!
nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 22, 2006 You should try and trade Branch now when his value is so high, makes no sense to have 2 WR's on the same team. As far as your starters for the week I agree with the way your leaning. Good Luck Peace...
iiiput 0 Posted October 22, 2006 I agree with your choices. DJax is still MH's main guy and gets a lot of looks in the redzone. Right now you cant sit him. Driver will have a good game against Mia. Maroney is a good flex - he'll have more of a chance to put it in the endzone than the others
Hit Hard 0 Posted October 22, 2006 I like the lineup you have chosen. DJax is the man in SEA. Maroney played well last time against BUF and Driver should do well against MIA. Thanks for your help on mine.
pixel_monkey 0 Posted October 22, 2006 Good lineup. But, I am going to go against the grain here... I like Maroney on your flex position. (I am using him the same way.) But, I like Jackson and Bryant as your receivers. Driver may have a good game against Miami, but Jennings has been the hot hand in Green Bay, lately. I think Bryant may the better play, because he and Leinart have developed a good repoire in the preseason. And, the Raiders high-ranking pass defense is suspect. That defense has not faced a pass offense ranked above 15th so far this season. Raiders are about to get their first real test...

I can see Bryant getting open against the Raiders as they double team Boldin. But they do have a good pass Defense. And I was disappointed in his numbers on Monday night. Jennings has defintitly stolen some numbers from Driver and continues to improve. The scariest thing about Driver is his health. He was injured two weeks ago. I do think there is a decision to be made here.
