Are you playing your WR vs Denver's defense?

Recommended Posts

I can play two.

L Coles vs Cleveland= great match-up.

M Mohammed vs questionable SF defense= great match-up

R Wayne vs tough Denver D in Denver.

Would it be wrong to bench Wayne for Mohammed?

I would start Wayne. I think he could out-produce Harrison this week. Harrison is gonna see alot of Champ Bailey. I have both Harrison and Wayne and am seriously considering benching Harrison for wayne this week. That being said, if you have either of Peyton's WR you have to take a chance on them.

Would you consider playing Wayne over Harrison, or am I crazy???

I think in this case, looking at matchups can be misleading. Denver has a great defense true, but aside from St. Louis, they haven't really played anyone with a high-power passing offense. Secondly, the truly great players step up the more difficult the situation, so I would still go with Wayne over Mushin...

Jerricho Cotchery is becoming Pennington's favorite target. Muhammed is a must play in this case, Grossman needs to have a good game to prove everyone he's still one of the best. Wayne and Coles are probably not going to get you many points either way, but Wayne is more likely to get a score considering Denver's defense is going to smother Marvin Harrison.

So bench Coles.

I disagree. I wouldnt bench coles. He has been VERY solid all year and doesnt seem to be slowing too much. I would go with Wayne over Muhammed. The last time we saw the bears, they sucked and got lucky. I would wait a game on Muhammed and see if they step back up to being dominant. I think Manning can pick apart the solid Denver defense. They will be focusing on Harrison, so go with Wayne. He should get a good 10-12 looks this week.
