MaddogMoney 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I've got some tough calls: (12 team league, 1pt for 5yd, no pts for receptions) QB (pick 1): Alex Smith, Damon Huard, Matt Hasselbeck (out) I like Alex Smith, but I'm thinking Damon this week because of match-ups. What do you think? Hurry back, Matt. RB (pick 2): Rudi Johnson, Warrick Dunn, Leon Washington, Ahman Green I usually go with Johnson an Dunn, but I heard today that Johnson didn't practice because of back trouble. What do you think? WR (pick 2): Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Doug Gabriel This is pretty easy. TE (pick 1): Jeremy Shockey K (pick 1): Jay Feely I could pick up John Carney, but I'm not really sure if he's an improvement over the course of the season. DST (pick 1): Kansas City, Indy I'm thinking the Chiefs here because Indy is playing Denver and the Chiefs are going up against a defanged Seattle team. Any and all opinions are appreciated. Leave me a link and I'll give you my thoughts on yours. Thanks, MM
fatalbertexp 0 Posted October 27, 2006 hmmmm.... QB is a tough call here , go w/ Huard RB: Gotta stick w/ Rudi & Dunn WR:"" TE: "" K: stick w/ what you have here D: Not sure ...I really think Denver will run all day to stay out of a shoot out , points may be low ...I think I like KC against an un-sure offense
bunnerjk 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I would stick with Rudi if he starts, otherwise I like what you have.
cougars 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Go with Huard, Rudi and Dunn then go with the ones you picked http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=247858
dalie 2 Posted October 27, 2006 I agree with your team, only question MIGHT be Rudi, he started hot then got cold and if he might not be 100%, it would be hard to start him over the hot hand of Leon with a good match up Thanks for mine

captmorgan212 0 Posted October 27, 2006 Huard Dunn and Washington. You already know who to start on WR, and I agree with you.
artamuss 0 Posted October 27, 2006 I think your choices are right on - but would watch the injury reports and if Rudi is playing may want to do a last minute sub - would say it is a toss-up which to bench - Dunn or Washington. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=248282
chitown81 0 Posted October 27, 2006 i like what you've got. but keep an eye on rudi i think. thanks for mine.
jimstruble 0 Posted October 29, 2006 I actually like your picks but; According to the Kansas City Star, Chiefs QB Damon Huard (groin) felt better on Friday and hopes to play Sunday vs. Seattle. "I don't think it's the end of the world," a visibly frustrated Huard said as he clutched a wooden lectern. "I don’t think it's really that big of a deal. And hopefully on Sunday I can go out there, feel good and just play ball." (Updated 10/28/2006). FANTASY ANALYSIS The fact remains that the decision between Huard and Brodie Croyle will be made likely an hour before kickoff. Monitor the inactives prior to kickoff if you're thinking about starting Huard. Don't consider Croyle unless you are desperate as desperate gets. Frankly, starting Huard is pretty desperate as well as far as Week 8 is concerned. Huard just got hurt- may play but it is a groin-better go with Alex Both are 1:00 starts Thanks for mine
