DumpTruck 0 Posted October 31, 2006 Right now I've got C. Frye starting @ SD and that scares me. Here's the guys that are on the WW, better options? S. McNair vs. CIN J. Losman vs GB A. Smith vs. MIN V. Young @ JAX B. Johnson @ SF I'm leaning towards McNair, especially after Week 8's performance. Lossman could have a good game against the Cheese but I have no faith in him. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!
kialindo 0 Posted October 31, 2006 B. Johnson @ SF After his performance last night vs the Pats he will be looking to get his confidence back .... and heck if Rexy boy can throw against em I think that Brad can too.... LunaTick 30 Posted October 31, 2006 As a Vikes fan I cannot recommend BJohnson. They have been spotty on scoring offensively. He cannot connect consistently the long ball. Just isn't a reliable play. I don't believe Asmith will be able to duplicate Brady. While I don't believe NE has a stud WR, they do have a lot of really good ones. NE is still able to spread the wealth, and not rely on a running game to move it effectively. I just don't see SF having enough wr to flood the Vikes secondary like NE did. I am in a similar situation having to start Frye this week, but I don't see these other options being worth the dump.
Sux2butoo 0 Posted October 31, 2006 GB has a good def and Jax will be suicidal with Young so the only choice you have is will McNair get the throws or will Johnson be able to get his confidence back. If I were you I would go with Minn. They will get the ball on alot of 3 and outs and this will mean some chances for Johnson http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=249558

ZO 0 Posted November 1, 2006 Thanks for answering mine... I also like McNair... Cinci's D is like swiss cheese... and could be a shootout now that Palmer has all of his weapons back - Chris Henry, etc. Baltimore's D is tough, but Cinci just has too many weapons to keep them down...
