Amen G-men

I just proposed...

Recommended Posts

I think it works in your favor...

Bulger will be just asw reliable down the stretch as Brady...who can you get as a backup to him?

the deal leaves you thin at WR(I'd check the waiver wire for Mike Furrey ,Michael Jenkins, or Chris Henry...)

but the upside with LJ is HUGE...which should more than make up for it.

thanks for mine!

I think it is a fair deal. You are giving up a lot, but LJ has been a complete animal this year. Little risky for you on the depth side, but you shouldn't suffer in the points department if everyone stays healthy.

Fantasy Football is a game of stars not whose on the bench. Brady is clearly on your bench this year and CJ is like 23rd in the league in recieving yards and his td's are way down. Maroney splits carries. I dont think u are giving up as much as others say u are. I would do the deal. Johnson is finally coming on and I think that he could push u over the top. I wouldnt deal for Alexander right now but if u can get him cheaper, do it. But yea do the deal. Thanks for seeing mine

Is that enough? Too much? Fair Deal?

Short answer: Get LJ. As someone above stated, points on your bench can be the demise of a fantasy football team.

Longer answer: I like Brady>Bulger (injury concerns overshadow DOME weather advantage and NE is starting to move the ball well). The knee on CIN QB is still a concern, which is a concern for CJ's ff numbers. NE RB shares carries, but may still be top 10. LJ is a dominant runner, a mean mofo (that hair pull was evil!) and the major weapon on a good offense.

I trade a ton and I like that deal. But if you can save CJ, try it.

My running backs are Maroney and Jones-Drew to go with Tiki

Stop the presses: I trade more that just about anyone here and I HATE this deal!

(I'm assuming you will make the play-offs without LJ:)

#1. Multiple QB's are crutial for the play-off run and you have two of the best. Brady's schedule in the play-offs is absolutely cupcake, and he has much improved WRs. NE seems to be opening up their passing attack as a result. For these reasons, I am actively trying to trade FOR Brady.

#2. Your WRs are weak enuf as it is without giving up CJ.

With reasons #1 and #2, I'm not sure I would do this trade. But throwing in reason

#3, and I'm sure I'd withdraw the offer pronto. I LOVE Maroney's upside potential. In the event that Dillon gets hurt/wears down, and Maroney gets most or all of the carries, you have absolutely killed any value you MIGHT have gotten from trading the other 2.

#4. While I like trading two Bs for an A, anytime you trade multiple players for one player you are drastically increasing your risk! What if LJ goes down? Then you have royally forked up your season. That said, I LIKE trading two B's for an A. In this case, You are trading an A- (Brady), a B+ (CJ), AND a B- with upside (Maroney) for an A. Just not worth it IMO!

I just don't see this deal helping you a lot and it just may hurt your chances of winning the championship.
