fantasy-guru 1 Posted November 3, 2006 I'm thinking about starting Brandon Jacobs this week against the Texans. Do you think he's worth a spot on my roster? Leave me a link, I will help you
theyhateme 0 Posted November 3, 2006 if you only start 2 rbs i wouldnt start jacobs because if he doesnt get his goalline TD hes pretty much worthless. if you have a flex spot id put 1 of your great recievers in. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showuser=68082
Scruffdawg 0 Posted November 3, 2006 I'm assuming you're going with MJD for your other RB, so the choice for #2 is Brown, Caddie, or Jacobs. It's always chancy going with a backup rather than a starter, and Caddie and Brown are at least starters. That said, there's a chance that the Giants game will be a blowout -- if that's the case, Jacobs will likely have a big game. I think your other decent choice is Brown. Even tho the Bears D is exceptional, Brown can run AND receive, and that could add to his points. Bottom line, if you think NYG will romp, go with Jacobs. If not, I'd take a chance on Brown. Good luck!
Tall Stranger 0 Posted November 3, 2006 Sorry, I just don't see a reason to play Jacobs. Given your WR collection, there's no need for more than 2 RB (if you have the option of only playing one, I'd seriously consider it.). If you get points for receptions, I'd probably go with Brown. If not, I'd use Caddy as my #2.
mgm32 0 Posted November 4, 2006 Yeah I don't really see a need for you to go out on a limb and play Jacobs. See mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=250241
