On the surface it seems fair, but I don't think I would do the trade. Statistically, Brees and Kitna are a bump. You would be increasing depth at QB and loosing depth at RB. RB is where you want the depth.

McGahee's got great matchups weeks 14-16(playoff time), but Jackson's been way more productive...

The second is actually pretty appealing...Jackson has looked good, and is putting up great fantasy numbers, and I don't think you'll really miss Chris Henry all THAT much since he's got Johnson and Housh to compete with

I say make the trade and pray McGahee and Portis aren't hurt later this year. They should do just fine.

 

But I'd try to counter and get a weaker RB from him... I guess it depends what's on the WW.

As for the 2nd trade, Steven Jackson probably is better than McGahee and Henry. I'm not a fan of Steven Jackson, so I'd probably not do that trade myself though.

Ahman has it tough going in week 16 (MIN) and 17 (CHI) but I still think I'd pass on this trade. Week 12,13,14 are in his favor if his hammy holds.

im a fan of sjax, so id do the 2nd deal. mcgahee doesnt have a cupcake schedule down the stretch, but he hasnt done much as of yet that makes me think we will do anything this year.
