vjjjc 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I have an offer of Stallworth and Jamal Lewis for my Julius Jones and M. Barber or my Dillon and Maroney I usually start Jones and Chester Taylor Dillon and maroney are on my bench My receivers Holt, Wayne and I alternate between Berrian, Gabriel, Reg. Williams and C. Henry. I can't decide if I want give up Jones and Barber or Dillon and maroney. I also can't decide if Stallworth will be #1 or #2 in Philly or if McNabb will continue to play like he has. I think if Dillon or Maroney goes down the healthy one will be huge but I don't know if the same can be said for the Dallas pair. So if I do the trade and give up Jones / Barber I would start Dillon, Holt, wayne and Stallworth... or give up Dillon and Maroney because Jones does get 20 carries a game and barber just fills in and Jones does get goal line carries just not many. Just can't make up my mind. Also it is a TD heavy league and in our scoring format Dillon and Jones has the same amount of points year to date. Help me and I will help you. drewmarquis 0 Posted November 8, 2006 i wouldn't do it reggie wayne is a stud and between holt, berrian and henry you should be okay... i don't think stallworth will keep producing now that mcnabb has come back down to earth and it's always good to have depth like that at RB please look at mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251804

miggidy 0 Posted November 8, 2006 tough call- good news- stallworth is still a number 1 receiver everyone says the ravens O is coming on Jamal gets all the carries i like dillon and maroney over jones and barber and I am a dallas fan if you can start 3 number 1's which reggie wayne truly is, then you will be hard to beat. you still have depth going into playoff season with jamal or the ne rb's on the bench. I would do it. Plus Romo is making the passing game come alive in Dallas.
leonardk1 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I'd unload Jones and Barber III and avoid RBBC for one consistent starting RB in Lewis. He's getting tons of carries now. Stallworth is o.k. but really just a throw in. His problem is you don't know if he'll play every week and if then you don't find out until just before game time. Do it. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251764
northendninja 0 Posted November 8, 2006 i would trade dillon and morony, you arent losin at starting RB, plus you are pickin up what i believe to be a STUD reciever in Stallworth.. look at the numbers Brown was puttin up when stallworth was out.. stallworth is gonna be McNabb's #1, so havin holt, wayne and stallworth as startin WR's with Jones/taylor at RB... Philly is also facing the horrendous pass def of Wash twice in the next 5 weeks, as well as Tenn.. the only bad WR matchup they will have is against IND, and honesly with Mcnabb vs manning its gonna become a pass-fest. I honestly think Stallworth is a top 5 fantasy reciever, especially considerin he has the #1 fantasy Qb (this year) throwing to him. lastly, if you look Lewis has seen a HUGE increase in carries since they got rid of their offensive co-ordinator. He is now a legitimate guy to get 100yards and tug most games... 31 and 24 carries his last two games... balt. won both so you know they are gonna continue with that strategy of giving him the ball. VUND 0 Posted November 8, 2006 It comes down to whether Stallworth is better than any of your other receiving options. I think Stallworth and Berrian are better than the other options. If Berrian weren't hurt I think you could stay with what you have. With him out for a few weeks though I think that Stallworth will definitely help you out. I would trade Dillon and Maroney over Jones and Barber. NE is a RBBC and Jones is the starter in Dallas. Yeah, Barber gets a number of the TDs but Jones will get 20 carries a game and in NE it seems to switch each week as to which one is the better play. I think having a clear #1 in Lewis will be just as good, if not better than the NE backfield. Thanks for the help

bauman88 0 Posted November 8, 2006 I'd do it to have a better 3rd WR. give up jones and barber see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251824
bmusselman 0 Posted November 8, 2006 thanks for mine. If you are going to trade, dont trade away the Pats. Trade Jones/Barber, they arent that great. Plus you get someone in Lewis who is on an upswing and a potential stud in Stallworth without really losing too much. Bye the way I think moroney will be big down the stretch.
