Julius Jones for Kellen Winslow...giving too much?

Recommended Posts

First off I never use Jones and will have no reason too for the rest of the season. My other backs are Steven Jackson, Brian Westbrook, Clinton Portis, and Frank Gore.

On the other hand, my only tight end is Ben Wattson, who isn't bad, but isn't great....averaging about 5-6 points a game for me aside from his 15 point week against the Vikings.

The thing is my bench is completely full. I'm probably going to trade Keyshawn Johnson later in the week for a decent backup kicker for Tynes...but thats about it. So even if I ask for more I can't get it.

Yes, you're giving up too much. It would be diff't if winslow was scoring TD's but he's not. You should be able to get a guy like Gonzo for Julius Jones or Gore.

How in the world did you get so many stud RB's???? Wow.

lol well I got Westbrook, Jackson, Portis, Willis McGahee and Jones in the draft. I traded McGahee for Reggie Wayne about 3 weeks ago then I dropped Heath Miller for Addai a few weeks ago then just traded Addai for Gore and Keyshawn Johnson.

I was also offered David Akers, Chris Chambers, and Duece McAllister for Jones.

I have both Winslow and Watson, and every week I have the decision to make who to play. To tell you the truth, most weeks lately there's not much difference between the two, except Winslow does get more receptions (which unfortunately don't count in my league). Yeah, JJ is probably too much to give, but on the other hand value is relative and JJ does you no good if he's always on your bench. Do what you need to do to strengthen your team.

btw, Keyshawn for a backup kicker?????? How come we don't have anyone like you in our league?

Good luck!

i would take that in a heartbeat...JJ is a mediocre back, plus Marion Barber gets the goal line carries...and you already have great RBs. i have Gore and Jackson as well. i play Winslow every week and the guy puts up consistent numbers, more so than most every other TE and he has the most receptions. granted he doesn't put up the big TD numbers like Gates or Gonzo but they only get those looks because they have superstars in L. Johnson and Tomlinson that pull defenders away. Winslow is the top receiver on a Cleveland team that depends on him, he'll get more TDs. i would do it but that's just me.

oh and answer mine if you could: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=251896

Definitely stacked at RB.............

You can get better for JJ.

If anybody needs a RB, you can package a RB or two..........plus a WR, to help you elsewhere....

Do your WRs need help or QB?

Remember, a TE is still a TE---------not too much consistency or big games--from any TE.

Please help me:
