Tiki for C Taylor

First time poster, long time lurker.........

 

I'm looking at making a playoff run being 6-4 with a one game lead in my division; roster is below in the sig. I'm a lifelong Vikings fan and would really like to get ahold of C Taylor. The kid who has Taylor has Manning and will only trade Taylor for Tiki.........i don't think this trade is fair straight up, so he offered:

 

C Taylor & A Gates for Tiki & R Smith

 

We have the option to start a 3rd WR instead of a TE, and Gates has put up big numbers and could help me at WR with Glenn's injury and Furrey's inconsistency. I'd also like to keep a RB for next year, and at this point i don't think any are worthy of a keeper spot (unless Turner is traded?) over my WR (Wayne & Walker, PPR League). With C Taylor's cake schedule coming up and into the playoffs, SHOULD I MAKE THIS TRADE and take a gamble with this season while securing a decent keeper, or should i go with what i've got and keep a WR? (Wayne or Walker)

 

PLEASE HELP, trade deadline is tonight and i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!

Your right we are in a similar situation. It depends on what you value more this years run or stability in your dynasty. I would probably do the deal you dont drop too much from Tiki to Taylor.

I would definately want C Taylor on my team going into the fantasy playoffs...he has a great schedule, and by then the weather will be such that they will be running non-stop. GET TAYLOR! oh yeah, and it helps that you get gates

would definitely make this trade. jacobs is gobbling up EVERYTHING within 15 yards of the end zone and i see gates even more busy once SD locks up playoff spot and LT rests.

That's a great trade for you if he will take it. In a keeper league you are a getting a steal actually with Barber retiring and R. Smith not too far behind. Good luck

I'd love nothing more than this to happen! The 1st place team has LT2 and McNabb (killing everyone), plus i have M Turner.........it would be so sweet to beat the #1 team with Turner in the playoffs...........

I'd make this trade but not because of Taylor i'd do it too get Gates, Tiki and Taylor are pretty even although i'm not as high on Taylor as some, the Vikes Offense is going nowhere.

I'd take the deal, the Vikings keep running with Chester Taylor no matter what while Tiki gets his carries split with Brandon Jacobs, not to mention you get a good keep next year.
