mscharver 0 Posted November 26, 2006 This may sound like a stupid question. Hell, I may be over-thinking this entire thing, but, we're in the final two weeks before the playoffs and I'm holding on by the skin of my teeth b/c my team has been riddled with injuries. However, my team has hung on and is finally healthy! Anyway, I NEED this win today! Pick two of the three WR's to start: Torry Holt - I would think this is a no-brainer, but, if Bulger struggles then Holt struggles and Holt struggled last week. Braylon Edwards - Has the potential for a HUGE day against Cincinnati and their pass defense, but, I'm not sure. I almost want to give him the nod b/c my starting QB is Charlie Frye (Don't ask...) and if Charlie hooks up with Braylon all day I'm getting big points for both players. Donald Driver - Driver seems so up and down this year. One week he gives me an 82 yard TD catch. The next he goes 4 receptions for 41 yards. Not sure what to expect against Seattle. Help me out!!! Leave links...I will answer yours!!! I'm here all morning - Matt
Pack-Attack 1 Posted November 26, 2006 man what a delima to have! i think i would start: EDWARDS-------ed has scored two weeks in a row and now he faces a porous bengals thirty-second pass d DRIVER----------favre and mnf.....mmmmmmmmmmm donald should see the ball early and often i know sitting holt might be crazy but he has not been putting up the numbers and like the last time these two teams met torry did nothing! good-luck please see mine

Tough one between Holt and Edwards. I'd go Edwards with Browns playing catch up all day against explosive Cincy offense and lousy defense. I have another question for you. I have Frye too plus E. Manning. Who would you start. Manning up against weak Ten defense but Frye should have good day for reasons I gave you to start Edwards. Who would you go with? wanska13 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Regardless of last week - Holt is a no-brainer (remember: "Never sit your studs.") As for the other two - it depends: If you get a point per reception, go with Driver, as I think he's still Favre's favorite and he'll get plenty of looks; if not, go with BE, since I think they'll try to get him at least one score just to shut him up, but this looks like a big "Go to TE" day for the Browns offense. Thanks for getting to mine.

Manning up against weak Ten defense but Frye should have good day for reasons I gave you to start Edwards. Who would you go with? Albern I would go with anyone but Frye. The only reason I am starting Frye is b/c I absolutely have to. My league has no waiver-wire pickups. Only trades and a 2-round supplemental draft after week 4. In this year's draft I focused on RB/WR early and didn't draft my QB's (Warner/Plummer) till late thinking I would simply play matchups week-to-week. Then Warner got benched, the "snake" has sucked and in the supplemental draft I took Frye needing a backup. Now, Plummer has been benched and my only option is Frye. I'm hoping Frye has a big-day and I can essentially get the connection with Frye/Edwards giving me double points. In your case, I would go with Eli. He is a much better QB than Frye. And, when one guy is much better, I go with talent over matchup. - Matt

cincyredsfan34 0 Posted November 26, 2006 In your situation youve got to go with Holt and Driver. I've got Holt too and he is DUE big time. Favre will be fine Mon night and playing from behind means plenty of passes to Driver. Thanks for answering mine.
philssteelers200 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Have to go with Holt... stud. Rather go with Driver since it's a Monday night and Favre should be slinging the balls. Thanks for mine.
-bp- 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I would go with Holt and Driver, Holt is too good to sit, and Driver should have a good game on MNF
