BigDaddy1978 0 Posted November 30, 2006 In one of my teams, I have the Bears DST. They play Minnesota this weekend, of whom I am also playing Chester Taylor. My other starter is Brian Westbrook, and they both start in front of Fred Taylor and Reggie Bush. So, my question, if it wasn't obvious already, is do I play the Chester and CHI DST together, knowing that points and yards for him will go against Chicago...the same with fumbles which Chester is not unknown for? Do I sit Chester and play Fred or Reggie or do I play Chester and run with the Cowboys (my other DST), who are doing quite well fantasy wise, and are playing the suffocating NY Giants? Any help is appreciated and as always I will answer yours.
badassbroncs 0 Posted November 30, 2006 This is something I hate to do aswell, but sometimes it is warranted. In your case I think that you have to go with the Bears dst for sure ( great d and good matchup) , and I would also probally roll with Chester, put going with Freddy wouldnt be that much of a decline I would think. Fonzie2004 0 Posted November 30, 2006 I worry about that sometimes also but I think its somewhat overrated. The Bears DEF will still gets points for sacking and intercepting Rex, running back kicks, fumbles or INT's for TD's, safeties, and recovering other Vikes fumbles. I am assuming your DEF teams gets points for all those things. Usually points and yards allowed are the ones that Taylor would dent all by himself, but those points he earns for you as an RB will exceed the couple of points that you'd get for each yardadge range or points range that's incurred. And never bench your studs. Pls see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256926 By the way - when you said "Suffocating" NY Giants. what did you mean? You couldn't possibly mean either the Giants offense or Defense...
-bp- 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Go with Chester and Chi D. The fumbles that are canceled out will have a bigger impact than the yards (in most leagues at least..)
~Fantasy Girl~ 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Go with Chester and CHI D. His yards won't affect the Bear's D. You have the chance of Bears ST doing well here too. And Johnson has been throwin up airballs lately. See Mine PLEASE! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=256937
