bruin1 0 Posted December 6, 2006 My 2 RBs are Thomas Jones and Jamal Lewis My 2 WRs are Steve Smith and Chad Johnson My current flex options are Devery Henderson, Reche Caldwell, Reuben Droughns, and Cedric Benson. Henderson's production is dependent on Colston's health. I think Caldwell could be big now that Brady is looking his way. Droughns plays Pitt and Bal the next two weeks so he may be a drop candidate. And, I mainly have Benson for Jones insurance, but I guess I could play them both and hope for a big running day, especially with Grossman's troubles. The following are on the WW: Wali Lundy, Cedric Houston, Antonio Bryant, Mike Furrey and Eddie Kennison. Are any of these guys worth picking up if it means I have to drop one of my current guys for a playoff run?
warwar123 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I would pick up Houston and drop Droughns. I would lean toward starting him as well. Droughns will do you absolutely no good the next 2 weeks. My next choice would be Henderson or Caldwell. Caldwell has the tougher matchup this week against MIA.
Go long 0 Posted December 6, 2006 You have a tough one. Miami is playing good D at home so I would be hesitant on Caldwell. Not Droughns against Pitt. I would start Henderson only if Colston does not play at all. Dallas D is tough at home but NO will score. You may want to solidify your rushing TD's with Benson on Monday night against a bad run D. He and Jones will get their touches with Benson getting the goalline work. Start Benson to be safe. If you want to go with a flyer, drop Droughns for Bryant and play him just this week at home against Green Bay who was torched by Pennington last week. This is a big risk but risks win Super Bowls! Thanks for mine.
bravo 0 Posted December 6, 2006 Honestly I would start Caldwell in this situation. As far as waivers, Cedric Houston would be the best pickup IMO, probably dropping Droughns. Still, I would go with Caldwell against a mediocre Miami secondary; if David Garrard can put up points against them, Brady should be able to find his WRs fairly well. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=257918
Foghorn Leghorn 0 Posted December 6, 2006 I'd be hesitant on Caldwell as well, as Brady has a different guy every week. I would drop Droughns for Antonio Bryant - SF plays GB, Seattle, Arizona, and Denver the rest of the way. Seems like at least two good matchups there (is Seattle a third?). I'd stay away from the NYJ RB situation -it's like another Denver, insofar as who gets the ball each week. Keep in mind that Joe Horn aggravated his groin injury, so even if Colston comes back, Henderson should still see significant action. I'd say: 1) Henderson 2) Bryant HTH. Thanks for mine.
