Ladell Betts or Willie Parker for RB

Recommended Posts

I have a 1 game lead for second place in my division and only the top 2 teams in each division get to the playoffs. If I win, I'm in. My question is who should I start for my second RB position?

Willie Parker (PIT) or Ladell Betts (WAS). Someone on the board said it was going to snow in Pittsburgh. Willie Parker scored 2 touchdowns in Week 11 against Cleveland, but he really didn't run all that well only gaining 46 running yards, 1 running TD and 1 passing TD. Plus, Willie Parker hasn't scored since that game, so is he due?

Ladell Betts has been playing well these past 2 weeks. gaining over 104 and 155 yards these past 2 weeks and 2 TD's last week.

Both RB's are going up against weak run defenses. It's a tough call. Maybe the snow should be the deterent. I'm leaning towards Ladell Betts. Thoughts?

My lineup for this week:

Regular Starters:

T. Romo QB

L. Tomlinson RB

W. Parker or L. Betts RB

T. Owens WR

D. Driver WR

B. Watson TE

R. Gould K

Cincinatti DST

Bench

B. Farve QB

R. Grossman QB

C. Dillon RB

M. Jones Drew RB

D. Henderson WR

J. Wilkins K

Dallas DST

I have both of them on my team and I am starting Parker. Take it for what it's worth. Parker has had two bad weeks, but I have a feeling that he is going to bust out tonight. Parker is a boarder line stud, Betts has played all of 3 or 4 games. I have to win this week, so if I do lose, I'm going to lose with my studs.

It's a really tough decision because W. Parker is going to play hard to try and get in the Pro Bowl. He's in third place in rushing in the AFC behind L. Johnson and L. Tomlinson. Three running backs from each conference make the Pro Bowl. F. Taylor is only 24 yards behind him. See story below:

I'd say Betts. Cleveland is a bitter rival against Pitt and they're defense is really gonna be pumped in this game. I see Parker maybe getting a goal line TD, but under 100 yards rushing.

nice line-up. i would go with betts. parker has not looked good the last few weeks and offense might be anemic tongiht with the cold weather. i don't think that will favor a finesse runner...

I go with betts because Phi Runn D isnt that good and Wsh is committed to running the ball, also who knows what the weather conditions will be like

thanks for help on mine :ninja:

go with betts, he's running the ball well and up against a suspect defense. Plus they don't want to put the pressure all on Cambells shoulders.

I say Parker, I have a feeling he's going to bust out a big run tonight. Betts isn't going to run for 130 yards and a td every week. Parker is due for a big one.

Hope you took my advice!

It's funny, two weeks ago everyone was saying how FWP and Sjax were the two best RB's outside the trifecta. But now everyone wants to throw FWP aside just because he had two bad games against Balt and Tampa Bay.
