thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted December 23, 2006 Who do I start at RB #2 this week with LT? Fred Taylor - out Thomas Jones - likely to not get many carries, if any, with Bears having home field locked up Laurence Maroney - coming back from injury, may play, but how much? Michael Turner - does he get any carries other than the 5 he averages? LT won't sit much... Correll Buckhalter - ??? Kevin Faulk - ??? Also, I already started Driver, and we start 3 WRs.... Who sits? Colston Holt Housmandzadeh leaning towards sitting Holt
Eddie George 0 Posted December 23, 2006 Definetly sit Housh. Hes going up a good secondary with Denver and there are too many other options around him that he could end up not doing anything. I would expect a lot out of holt against WAS. He is home and he generally does a LOT better at home than on the road. Also, the WAS secondary, although improving a bit, is still blowing a few deep coverages a game and Bulger will be ready to throw to holt when that happens. As far as your running backs go, its not a good situation. Your best bet is to go with Benson and hope they sit Jones through most of the game. Even if they don't, Benson now regularly sees red zone carries and will score against a weak weak weak and injured Detroit run D. please help me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261843

Natural Lights 0 Posted December 23, 2006 Would play Marooney and sit Holt, although that really hurts to say. (I probably would have sat Driver, easy to say now though ) http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261820
Poloc2289 0 Posted December 23, 2006 I think it's between Turner and Buckhalter. Both should get a good amount of carries but I'll have to give the nod to Buck because of his increased role in the offense recently. Also, I'd sit Housh. Holt, to me, is a starter every week and Colston has too much upside to sit this week. Plus snowy conditions are better for runs and short passes. Hard to make cuts. Good luck! Help Please! NAWTDH 0 Posted December 24, 2006 Buckhalter. Faulk got his big game last week. Maroney probably out or very limited. Turner and Jones you all ready stated why I would shy away. I would actually sit Colston. I think this will be a dink and dunk game. Busch has been more involved in the offensive and with Horn out Colston will probably see more double coverage leaving opportunities for Henderson and Copper, both who have proven they can catch and Brees has no problem throwing their way. Holt is due and TJ, well like someone else already stated CJ will get Champ so TJ should get plenty of looks from CPalmer. I would suspect on many plays where he sees champ lining up with Champ TJ will be the primary target even if he looks to CJ to draw the Def that way. Plus Colston is a rookie and in FF playoffs I don't trust rookies. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261998

thenewlibrahi2 0 Posted December 24, 2006 NO WAY sit Housh! A must start every week - regardless of matchup. agree with that. going with hous and holt, although i hate to sit colston. which i could sit driver now! as far as RB goes, gotta hear how maroney or jones will be used today first. i like jones even if plays a half. that's better than my other options for sure. huskers-420 0 Posted December 24, 2006 I would go with Jones. he is the best hope to score. I would also bench Colston. Housh will be going against Darrent Williams who gets burned alot. check mine please: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=261914

I'd sit Housh, another tough choice. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=262035
