If Mark Clayton can't go for week 1,

Recommended Posts

1 Pt for 10 yards, 6 pts for TD's. Punt\kickoff return TD's go to the Def\ST, not individual

If Mark Clayton is out for week 1 or if he sounds like he's iffy....I have these 3 option:

1) Greg Jennings

2) Mike Furrey

3) Jacoby Jones

I am leaning on taking the chance with Jacoby Jones. The man has serious skills...and if Houston is playing from behind...he may get a few chances.

OR is this too early to roll the dice on Jacoby and go with more steady option of Furrey or Jennings?

Thanks!

I have the same predicament. But I think Clayton should be able to go, thats what all the reports indicate at this point and we have several days before he has to go. I also have Jennings, who I will probably start as my third, despite the reports that he is unhappy/losing ground to James Jones. I would wait until the last possible moment to make the decision, but Jennings seems like the way to go especially since Furrey will lose receptions to Calvin and Jacoby has only really shined in preseason. JMO.

Assuming Clayton can't go (and he may very well be fine) I'd go with Jacoby. I don't think Furrey will get enough catches again a stout Raider's secondary and everything out of Packer camp about Jennings has been bad since he tailed off at the 2nd half of last season. And we all hate to say it, but Favre just isn't that productive any more.

Thanks for answering mine!

I am going against the grain on this one. I would pick Furrey while saying Jones would be a high upside/risk pick. Furrey has done it before. He is a good possession receiver and I think the good Raider secondary will be focusing on Williams and Johnson leaving some opps for Furrey. No Homerun hitter but will get you points.
