Should I handcuff LJ with M Bennett? Got other so-so RBs on the bench...

Recommended Posts

Everyone talks about this year LJ breaking down due to the 416 carry year last year... if and when that happens, would Bennett really carry the load enough to be viewed as a featured RB? Or are we looking at RBBC with Kolby Smith?

I've got Lynch, Foster, and C Taylor on the bench - got to start two each week... worried that Lynch / Foster is not going to get the job done...

The only concern I'd have here is whether or not Foster is going to be THE guy in Carolina. If he is, then I think you're ok with what you've got. Maybe you wait to see who emerges in Minnesota and Carolina as the #1, if Taylor or Foster take a back seat then drop one of them for Bennett.

handcuffing LJ w/ Bennett is not a bad idea....but I wouldn't drop any of the backs you currently have to get him. All the RB on your bench are an injury away from being a featured back (who all would have more value then Bennett if LJ got hurt because of KC inept offense). If you have a WR or TE you can drop for Bennett....then maybe trade one of your RBs on the bench to improve your WR spot. Good luck....thanks for mine

Thanks for mine. I would handcuff Bennett for security if nothing else. AS mentioned I think D. Williams slowly takes away carried from Foster and Chester will split some with A. Peterson. To me Lynch is the unknown but only RB really in Buffalo. Unsure how he fairs in the NFL but you have to me solid Rb's in LT and Lynch getting many carries...

thanks for mine!

I am not a big fan of handcuffing. Especially in LJ's situation. I agree with the decision to handcuff LJ to Priest a few years ago, because as a team, KC could plug in almost anyone and produce a stud RB. That is not the case any more.
