daltex 0 Posted September 7, 2007 going to be a long QB year for me. First year dynasty league, drafted Vick about a month before the dog days of summer. Good news is I drafted JaMarcus Russell in the rookie draft...oh wait....that will do me no good this season. Needless to say, in a first year dynasty, everybody who's anybody is already on a team. So...my dilema is Kitna or Harrington. Normally, I'd go with Kitna, but Harrington's match up may be a better. Rest of the team: Addai McGahee Houshyourmama Galloway Donald Driver Before you stop laughing, realize I also drafted Kevin Jones. Laugh on. The silver lining is this is a Dynasty league, so I was drafting for the future, not to win now....right.... Oh yeah, the original question - Kitna or Harrington for week 1. Both will do better than Brees
mkuz 0 Posted September 7, 2007 ok, this might not help but here is my peice... i have kitna and alex smith, i think kitna will have a BIG year and smith will break out. as far as the first week i see your harrington and my smith both in better matchups then kitna (potentialy). here is some fat to chew on that will make yours and my decisions harder for this week. if the saints had the #1 offense last year, after last night, is oaklands D really that good? kitnas offensive weapons are stellar... ROY, CALVIN, furrey and that martz scheme. oakland's fans will be jazzed up and could cause mistakes by the int. prone kitna. this is hard but i think i am going with smith and you should go with harrington. now, i am not 100% on this but here is my thinking. i have addai, you have addai. he outperformed his projections and more then likely you are in the lead in your matchup as i am. i think kitna has the ability to BOOM big or BUST big this week. smith should be solid and harrington should be solid, neither will lose your week for you. it kills me to say it but i think i will bench kitna this first week. and remember... this is fun, right? daverigs 0 Posted September 7, 2007 Start your studs - always! Go with Kitna and that set of receivers, no matter who they play. Harrington is a joke and has very little offensive weaponry. see mine: S. Moss or Hines Ward - yardage/TD only - NO ppr
jayjun 0 Posted September 7, 2007 I'd say go with Kitna until we see how Harrington does with his new team. Harrington could get amnesia and forget about his bad judgment and be the quarterback he should be, but right now Kitna is less risky.
