WoodDuck2003 0 Posted September 9, 2007 For those of you who have been reading this post for two days now here is where it stands. I told the other owner that FWP/Caddy was to much for LJ. They came back and offered LJ/S.Moss for FWP/Caddy. Here are the details of my situation: This is similar to a post I had yesterday but the rules have changed a pit so here it is. 12 team keeper leage, standard scoring, 4pts pass TD and ppr. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1K, 1DST. We can keep 4 players each year and give up or first 4 draft picks. If you keep 2 players you give up your 1st and 2nd, and so on. Here is my team QB Bulger/E.Manning RB S.Jackson/W.Parker/C.Williams/L.Washington/M.Bush WR D.Diver/S.Holmes/B.Edwards/T.Gonzales/D.Williams K S.Graham D/ST CHI I have been offered LJ/S.Moss for W.Parker/C.Williams The thought of LJ/S.Jackson as my two RBs for the future are awesome but will LJ still produce like a top 5 and even if he does how much better will he be than Willie? Not to mention if Caddy returns to 2005 form he is a top RB as well. So: 1. Do I accept this trade? 2. Stay w/what I have? This would kill my depth at RB this season, increase my WR depth this season, and give me 2 of the top 5 RBs. By the end of the season my keepers: For sure S.Jackson/LJ then 2 out of (Bulger/Driver/Edwards/Holmes/S.Moss). Leave a link and i will return the favor. Cuse9 129 Posted September 9, 2007 I'm not leaving til you turn this trade down or get more! Forget Moss! He don't have a viable QB to get him the ball. Even if he did, they'll double team him due to the bozo's they have opposite him! Starting RB's are not easy to come by and he wants to take one from you for a wr who completely dissappears from one game to the next and then he'll explode?! Unreliable. You get rid of Caddy you will have two weeks where you have to start Washington?! Well, I guess you could start Michael Bush.....who won't play this year! What happens is LJ or SJ get hurt...your season is done! Who are his RB's?

I stood by Caddy all last year passing on trades b/c he was supposed to be great. Now here I am again getting a solid trade offer and potentially getting LJ and I am saying yeah but Caddy should be great. His other RBs are Portis/Bell. I am really not that high on either of them. If I made the trade I was thinking I could go to the T.Jones owner and pair S.Moss/L.Washington and grab J.Jones or A.Green. He also has Jennings as his #3 WR! Turn it down...don't give up your depth plus your WR's are pretty solid. thanks for mine
WoodDuck2003 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Thanks Dol-fans. You are the first one to have confidence in my WRs. I know Driver is a true #1, Gonzo in ppr is a low end #2 and both Holmes and Edwards are solid #3 WRs with the potential to be solid #2 WRs. If both play up to potential this season I should have a very tough team! Anymore?
biglou 2 Posted September 9, 2007 I say go for it. Yes you will kill you RB depth and you will have to start Washington twice, but look at this. Take the trade, and drop Demetrius Williams. I bet you can pick up Jesse Chatman who is my "Turner (SD)" type sleeper this year. He may just jump up and create a platoon situation in Miami if he doesn't take the starting job outright. Besides Williams is a first half of the season guy. They beat him to death during the beginning of the season and he has dead legs at the end. I say go for it, you always pick up a stud whenever you get a chance. BTW On my post I was asking about ZACH Miller OAK's TE not HEATH Miller PIT's TE. Thanks for the help though lol. biglou 2 Posted September 9, 2007 That is a good point and I just said the same thing to somebody asking about starting Young or Schaub. Jax won't let Young beat them with his legs. Thanks for the post.
