Buck Naked 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Need some advice on flex starters in a couple of leagues: In a PPR league: Lynch vs. Denver, or T.Bell @ Oakland In a non-PPR leauge: Foster @ St. Louis Williams @ St. Louis J. Jones vs. Giants Leave a link, and I'll respond to yours. Thanks! Ouch on the first choice. I think I would go Lynch, reluctantly. Didn't Bell have some problems catching the ball out of the backfield in the preseason? Am I just imagining that? Lynch has been well hyped but I think that O will stuggle this season. I think they are the better matchup at home, however. Second question comes down to Foster and Jones IMHO. I would lean towards Foster but think either will be pretty good. Take a look at mine, thanks. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=285191
sd1973 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Detroit's RB situation is wierd right now... Jones came off the PUP list so what the hell does that mean? Does bell have to share now?... So I'd go Lynch. Not sure how many you are starting but I'd go Jones and Foster.
montana 89 Posted September 9, 2007 i'd start bell & foster. Lynch will be shut down & will actually finish with fewer rushes than thomas. Oaklands pass def. is very good, but i can see bell getting about 5-6 passes & about 40 yrds as oaklands db's pay attention to williams/furrey/johnson. kj is off the PUP, but he is still listed as doubtful (less than 25% chance of playing). IMO, kj doesn't come back for a few more weeks, if at all. foster has had an excellent preseason & stl has a poor rushing D. i think both panther rbs are a good play this week, but i like foster a bit more only b'cuz he'll get about 60% of the touches. benson will get shut down by sd run d. i look for sd to win big in this game, forcing rex to try to beat them passing the ball & we all know what that means for benson & bear fans.
