Been ofered Maroney and Berian for M. Colston and J. Jones...... will Maroney bounce back or will it be a long year? that would leave my wrs as R. williams, B. Berrian, B. Marshall, V. Jackson, D. Carter and a. battle and curtis... starting 3.... the only reason I am thinking about doing it because my running backs suck outside of Gore..... I have R. brown, J. jones, m. Turner and d. Wynn

It's worth considering. It's a downgrade--I believe--at WR, but Maroney will see more action than JJ will, even with Morris taking touches.

I think you should go for it. The way i see it, If Grossman gets his act together, you have a big Upside with Berrian. If not, Griese will be the replacement and Berrian will benefit. Its a good thing Grossman sucked right from the start of the season, the team will have options of chaning him if needed. I dont think the coach will say NO this year (like last year) before changing him if the season is in jeopardy.

 

Maroney is a huge upgrade over Julius Jones - both in yards and TD's. Colston might be headed for a sophomore slump.

I just countered with colston and Turner.... to see if he will bite... if not i will go for the J.jones and Colston for Maroney and berrian

I would probably take a chance and bite on the trade even though i have no confidence in Grossman, i dont think i could pass up the upside of Maroney.

I'd do this. I think Marshall could be a starter for you very soon and you are definitely in need of a RB2. Jones is going to continue to lose carries to Barber and who knows if Ronnie Brown will ever come around. Downgrading to Berrian is tough, but having two RB's like Maroney and Gore will be nice at the end of the season.

I think Maroney is an upgrade over J. Jones and Berian is only a slight downgrade from Colston. Even if Maroney does not live up to what you'd like him to at least you can play matchups with him and Ronnie Brown which is alot more then you can do now.

i think right now is the perfect time to get maroney at a bargain. go for it! you know even though the patriots are billed as a pass heavy team their starting rb is good for 10+ TD a season, good enough for maroney>>colston

I would do it. Maroney has way more of an upgrade then you get on the downgrade if you take Berrian. Maroney will get his.
