Sinners 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Dynasty performance league (1 pt per 10 rush/receive yards, 6 pts per rush/receive TD, half that for passes) w/ 0.5 PPR? Both are hurt so they're of no immediate help. Actually neither should really affect my starting lineup this year; I'm riding Shaun Alexander and TO til they fall over. This is mainly for the long term. Which of the two would you prefer and why?
wggierhart 0 Posted September 22, 2007 This is actually a really good question. IMO Jacobs will be an injury prone player (due to running style) his entire career. Johnson is huge AND fast. I really think he and Schaub will have great chemistry for the next several years. Go with AJ. Thanks for answering mine!
JazzyJeff30 0 Posted September 22, 2007 Ride the 'Dre train. He is a Stud. The real deal.
ChickenLittle 0 Posted September 22, 2007 AJ all the way. With a real QB now he's the much better option. Jacobs just doesn't look impressive and over the past few years gets hurt and can't hold on to the ball. He's projected to be back in a few weeks, but once a power back starts losing their knees they're pretty much done.
CowboySmack 0 Posted September 23, 2007 AJ is the choice here for sure... Tends to be injury prone also but when he is on there is none better... And now he has a mobile QB... Thanks for mine..

Why do people not just answer to get the post to the top rather than just say "bump'?
enricopulazzo 0 Posted September 23, 2007 AJ all the way. B. Jones is a bowling ball and will get his TDs in goaline situations but you have to reach the goaline first and until the Giants dump that momo Coughlin, they will continue to suck. I really don't think BJ is a true every down RB, whereas AJ is a beast of a WR with what appears to be a great future ahead with Schaub at QB in HOU. Keep AJ - he's like a baby-TO. Sinners 0 Posted September 23, 2007 AJ...proven unlike BJ. Why do people not just answer to get the post to the top rather than just say "bump'? You should really be asking in your own thread, but usually the bumper is someone looking for an answer and has no info to add themselves. They just bump so more people see it and hopefully one of them will answer or provide some insight.
Sinners 0 Posted September 23, 2007 But BJ is a starting RB and sure TD back for his team. Doesn't the fact that RBs are harder to find, make him more valuable? Playing devil's advocate to see if I get can get some debate going.
Big Pauly 0 Posted September 23, 2007 I think it really comes down to risk versus reward. Andre looks like a solid keeper (you know what you are getting). Years down the line BJ could be a legitimate feature back, but the jury is still out. BTW, thanks for answering mine
