MD Jet 0 Posted September 28, 2007 I am in dire need of an RB (my RBs are Frank Gore, Derrick Ward, Maurice Jones-Drew and Sammy Morris ... I just lost Deuce for the season). I am trying to work a deal with another team that is overloaded at RB and is weak at WR. I'd like to go straight-up WR for RB. Here's what each of us has: MY WRs: Terrell Owens, Donald Driver, Chris Chambers, Shaun McDonald HIS RBs: Travis Henry, LaMont Jordan, Carnell Williams, Tatum Bell His first offer was Bell for Driver, because apparently he thinks I'm retarded. I'm thinking of countering Chambers for Williams or Driver for Jordan. What do you think is fair here ... and what would you do if you were me? Thanks ... and leave a link ... I'll respond to yours. chinombre 2 Posted September 28, 2007 I'd hang on to TO & Driver. Any combination of Chambers/McDonald for Caddy/Jordan seems about right.
JazzyJeff30 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Its going to be tough to go straight up for a RB with a WR in any league unless you give up like a Driver or Chambers for Bell which i dont think is a very good trade for you. The Detriot running situation is terrible and Kitna/Martz like to air it. You are probably going to have to package something. What do his WRs look like? raisedbywolves 0 Posted September 28, 2007 if you could get lamont for driver, i'd go for that. but chambers for caddy's a decent trade too. how weak is he at wr exactly though, out of curiousity? help with mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291526
MD Jet 0 Posted September 28, 2007 His WRs are Santonio Holmes, Laveranues Coles, Wes Welker and Larry Fitzgerald.
raisedbywolves 0 Posted September 28, 2007 i don't really consider that 'weak' ... i mean, fitz is a stud (just not so far), coles is dependable (especially in ppr leagues), and holmes has big play potential ... i think his wr depth is pretty good despite not having two studs like you ... i think maybe you should try out something like driver and mjd for lamont jordan and holmes and see if he bites. JazzyJeff30 0 Posted September 28, 2007 His Wrs really arent that terrible. You can try Chambers for Caddy, but Caddy is banged up so im not sure you really want to do that.
madd futher mucker 36 Posted September 28, 2007 I really don't see a deal to be made here. Chambers for Caddy is the fairest thingI can see. And I agree, his Wr's aren't that weak (and neither are your RBs, really). The fact that he offered Bell for Driver says that he is trying to steal from you and isnt serious about making a 'fair' trade. People who make offers like that generally cannot be traded with. Im not sure you can get a good trade here.Unless you trade 3 for 1 maybe Morris, ward and Driver for Henry or Jordan try to snatch Welker in the deal. You at least get a starting RB.Wards wont be a starter for long once Jacobs comes back, and Morris is not a Starter.
