    prepping for playoffs ...

i'm in a 10 team league, some guy is not gonna make the playoffs so he dropped romo and some other people like an idiot. p.s. you kinda misunderstood my q ... i can't pick up romo and keep cutler, i was asking if i should drop cutler to pick up cassel or romo 'cause i already have warner. and i can't keep braylon and berrian AND get walter, i was asking which of those to drop for walter or if i should even do it at all.

Collins over Brees for week 13...

tennessee is going to run on detroit all day, there'll be minimal passing, i figure ... whereas saints will pass all day, so even if brees throws a pick or two, the yards and td's will make up for it. so, i think it's crazy to think of starting collins. here's my link: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=334462

    Kevin Walter or Antonio Bryant?

walter for sure, he played well against jax earlier in the year and bryant's a little hurt. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=334462

    prepping for playoffs ...

alright, so i'm trying to get ready for the playoffs and solidifying myself for a championship run. my team is 10-2, i'm in 1st place so i'm last in line for waivers. anyway, here are some moves i'm entertaining, tell me what you guys think. i'm thinking of dropping cutler for cassel or romo (somebody dropped him), but i'm thinking romo gets yanked before my waiver position, and possibly cassel too. if i can grab cassel, is it worth giving up cutler? then i'm thinking of dropping either berrian or edwards for kevin walter. they're both too inconsistent i feel, but which is worth keeping more? another i'm considering is dropping daniels for dustin keller. daniels is great, but his production stinks lately, and favre is looking keller's way a lot lately. last move would be dropping jamal lewis, who has been terrible, for the steelers d to alternate with the titans d. oh, also considering dropping bironas for either folk or rackers, but i might just play matchups for kickers. anyway, for anyone that helps, i'll be sure to answer your posts, just leave links, thanks!

    best trading option?

i have the following confirmed offers for lt. addai and slaton for lt. steven jackson and marques colston for lt. a third option i might be willing to try is frank gore and roy williams for lt. out of these options, which is the best? i like addai, but his yards seem down this year, plus he seems sort of injury prone ... but having addai, slaton, and chris johson at the flex along with marshall and wayne would be good until grant picks it up, then i could trade out the excess for something better. i dunno whether or not to trust s-jax, but having colston along with marshall and wayne might make up for that ... and frank gore is putting up consistent numbers and is the focal point of the 49ers offense. so, which one would you go with, if any? leave your links and i'll reply if you reply to mine, thanks.

    potential vs. production trade

    anyone else?

Trade advice - Brees for Marshall?

yeah, i think you'd have to get the second deal done first before i'd even consider brees for marshall. and i don't think there's any way you could trade a very low-end rb2 like thomas jones for rivers ... if you could get rivers somehow, then i could see doing the brees for marshall.

    potential vs. production trade

that's the thing, i'm not going to get forte unless wayne is involved. he wants wayne mostly. 'cause he'd just look at it as you did, that forte is much better than chris johnson right now and that holt is on equal footing with braylon, basically. so wayne is what pushes it over.

    potential vs. production trade

alright, i would trade any combination of the following: reggie wayne, chris johnson/jonathan stewart, and holt/bowe for colston, michael turner/matt forte, and braylon edwards. the one i'm leaning towards is wayne, chris johnson, and holt for colston, forte, and braylon. basically, i'd be trading for potential, in the hopes that colston will come back healthy and finish out strong to replace the loss of wayne, that forte will be an every week starter since chris johnson doesn't get td's (although he's very good), and that braylon can turn it around so i could use him as a flex or alongside brandon marshall. so, in the end, would the trade help my team out well enough to do? i know it's risky, but i'm looking at the big picture. and would any of you do any other combination? thanks for any input, leave your links and i'll reply back to yours.

    trading lt ...

i'm a bit concerned with the slow start of lt, plus the reinjuring of his toe ... i feel like jumping ship a little. my team is very, very solid ... my rb depth is great right now, my qb's, my wr's could be improved if i could trade holt for a better third receiver to plug in, but i'll probably be alright just plugging in wayne and marshall most every game, blahblahblah. what i'm looking to do is trade lt and thomas jones for something like brian westbrook and willie parker, hopefully catch this person napping. would that be a good trade? even if lt comes back and gets it going, westbrook'll still probably finish top 5 in rb's ... and parker'll probably end up with better stats than thomas jones. worth it or not? give me replies and i'll give you replies, just leave your links.

Barber, Thomas Jones, Forte, C. Johnson & D. Williams

well, can't bench your studs, so roll with barber ... and then i'd probably go with thomas jones as the safe workhorse bet, chris johnson as the high risk/high reward option. if barber couldn't go for some reason, i'd go thomas jones and chris johnson. help with mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322863

Trade advice involving MJD and Edwards.

yeah, i don't know too much about keeper leagues either, but from a pure value standpoint, your wr corps are pretty weak and jacobs/turner along with gore should be just fine, and t.o. and braylon gives you a much more potent wr corps, so i'd go ahead and do it.
