Dascoopman 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Ok so I am having a tough debate on who to play as my #2 WR and my flex option. So please pick at least 1 WR then a 2nd player whether RB or WR: Ronnie Brown vs. Oakland Cedric Benson @ Detroit(Leaning towards Benson as Flex option) Joey Galloway @ Carolina Lee Evans vs. Jets Santonio Holmes @ Arizona(Leaning towards Holmes as #2 WR) Also real quick I sent out an offer of Adrian Peterson for Roy Williams because i have no #2 consistent WR and have 4 pretty good RB's, you think that is a good idea or you think i could do better?(It is a keeper league too) Scoring is in my sig and please leave a link and i'll help you out as well. Thanks
Lamb of God 15 Posted September 28, 2007 Easy, Holmes and Benson. After debating about this I think you keep AP. Your wr's should be pretty good with Smith and Holmes, I just wouldn't mortgage my future in AP who is going to be an uber-stud unless I could get more. Maybe you throw in Holmes and he gives you a rb in return. mine please http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291648
Hefeweizen1 0 Posted September 28, 2007 This might sound like crazy advise but if Lee Evans doesnt go off against the jets he wont the entire season so I would roll the dice with him. I dont think Ronnie Brown could do what he did last week again so Id go Benson. Thanks for answering mine
Lil_Frog8 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Go with holmes and benson. The fact that your trade is a keeper league throws a kink into things... Peterson is going to be the premier back eventually maybe next year... or this year!!!! Roy is about to be a part of a Cincinatti type situation in the upcomming years with all the depth at Wr in Det. more consistent points will come from AP. Thanx for mine
Nish4x 0 Posted September 28, 2007 I like Brown and Galloway. Garcia has been playing good and Galloway is a threat deep. Brown had a great game last week and if he is to be used in that manner again you cant sit him. Benson is also a good option, but you just never know with him. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291656
ChiTownKev 0 Posted September 28, 2007 I almost always go with RB's over WR's for a flex, just because they're more dependable. I don't like Benson very much, but I'd consider him a decent flex option. I'd say it's a toss-up between Galloway and Holmes. Since Ward looks like he'll be out this week, I'd go for Holmes. As for the trade, since it's a keeper league, you may want to hold on to Peterson. Looking at your RB depth, Brown's been up and down so far, and even with two good RB's, it wouldn't hurt to have another guy like AP around, especially for at least another season, as he'll only get better. And honestly, your WR's aren't that bad. Choosing between Galloway and Holmes isn't ideal for a No. 2 WR, but keep in mind Evans should bounce back eventually. I have him in one league too, and it's frustrating looking at him on the bench every week, but their schedule should ease up some, and I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up strong numbers by mid-season. Trey5 0 Posted September 28, 2007 Hold on to peterson in the trade - As for the lineup - I'd say go with Galloway. Potential for huge numbers with him and his QB is consistently finding him. As flex, I'm kinda torn between Brown and Benson. Neither has been great but Brown is coming off the big game and Benson has a nice matchup. Its really a tough call so I'd say go with your gut. My gut says Ronnie Brown at home against the Raiders, but its nearly a coin flip for me.
MattG2103 0 Posted September 28, 2007 i like evans this week if you're going for upside. in the flex i'd go with ronnie brown (who's coming off a real big week). i don't really trust the chicago offense to put up big numbers even against detroit. hold on to peterson in a keeper league. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=291668
