McPhreak 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Here is my current team as it stands now: T. Brady QB J. Kitna QB F. Gore RB E. James RB B. Jacobs RB K. Jones RB W. Dunn RB S. Young RB C. Johnson WR D. Branch WR D. Mason WR L. Evans WR V. Jackson WR C. Cooley TE N. Rackers K Titans TM With Branch injured out for the next couple of weeks, I needed a solid WR so I proposed the following trade to another team who's desperate for a QB: Gore (can't be kept) + Kitna (4th) for Marion Barber (4th) + Fitzgerald (1st) Keep in mind that this is a keeper league. The numbers next to the name indicates what I would have to give up next year to keep them. At first he rejected it but now has second thoughts. He will probably accept it on the condition that I give him a decent WR as a replacement in addition to Gore and Kitna. Should I go through with this trade or am I loco? HowieWan 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Not knowing the keeper rules and rounds you drafted your current team in, I'll ignore the keeper side of the equation and say this: make the trade. You have great RB depth and Brady at QB - currently, Gore and Kitna should never be in your lineup. Fitz, however, would be a nice upgrade for you at WR. You would then start James and Jacobs at RB, hope that KJ continues to emerge, MBIII on the bench, and have 85 and Fitz at WR. I like it. Throw in Mason or Jackson at WR and ask for his backup QB to replace Kitna. Even if he won't throw in a QB make the trade. Nicely done. TonyBologna 0 Posted October 11, 2007 I would pull the trigger. Fitz and Barber are on productive offenses and should continue to produce down the stretch.
