League is really a TD League -- See my team below.. this could be the one that sets me up for the big push.

Brandon Jacobs & Chris Brown for:

 

Willie Parker & N. Davenport

But more likely one of these two options if the other owner wants a little more:

 

 

2)

 

Jacobs, Brown & B. Marshall

 

for:

 

Parker, Davenport & Chambers

 

Or if I really put major value on Willie (i would be reluctant to give this much):

 

3)

 

Jacobs, Brown, Fitz or Winslow

 

for:

 

Parker, Davenport, Chambers

If this league is a heavy TD league then I'd say Jacobs and Parker are pretty even, maybe even an edge to Jacobs. What makes you think FWP is going to start scoring at this point? The steelers love to throw to their tight ends around the goalline and when they do runs its often Davenport. Jacobs has proven he can score 10+ TD's when he isn't the feature back, now he is. I'd stay put.

Thanks for the reply -- frankly, i am always worrying about Jacobs health -- you have me thinking though. The Giants oline is playing better than Pitts.

I appreciate your comments, but the more I think about it, the more i'd like to do the deal. Even sans Cowher, Grimm & Whisenhunt, I just can't help but think that the Steelers are going to be muich more run first.. and FWP is being saved a little, physically, for the latter half of the season.

 

Just the fact that you like Jacobs, tells me that this is one of those nice "sell high" weeks for him. At the end of the day, i think you deal risky players, players who have a good chance of getting hurt again, for a safer bet. Now, Jacobs definetly has upside and NY is playing well.. but if I can grab FWP, who I think is a super undervalued, top 6 back most of the time, for a brittle #2, i think i need to take the shot.

 

Your point about Davenpoop getting the gol lines is the sticking point. But it's not like Jacobs is even assured all his goal lines either.
