Kenton Keith

Recommended Posts

So news has broken that Indy's Kenton Keith will be getting 10-15 touches a game. He's still on the waiver wire right now.

My dliemma: I have both my starting RBs on bye. I have DeShaun Foster replacing one, but then I have lowly Vince Jackson as a flex.

Do I drop Jackson and pick up Keith? Is it worth it for the one week? For the duration of the season? Is Jackson worth keeping now that Chambers in in SD? My WR depth would take a hit, since Javon Walker's out for another 6 weeks or so.

Bear in mind that I also have my starting QB on the bye, so I'm already in a hole for this week.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Personally I don't think Jackson is really worth keeping. Seems to me that he's the 4th option now in a run first offense.

I picked up Keith when Addai was hurt and after that week, I figured he'd probably be worth keeping just if Addai went down again because he doesn't seem like the most durable back and now it looks like they'll be splitting carries. I figure Keith and Jackson are going to be good for 40-50 yards and the occasional TD, but Keith will have more upside since he'll get opportunities to run out the clock and has shown he can be a very good RB2 if Addai ever goes down.

I see you have Javon Walker listed in your signature. What about dropping him since hes out for atleast 6 weeks (last I heard) and who knows how he will do when he comes back from his knee injury.

Thanks for mine

Thanks for answering mine (BTW, I updated the post with my roster like you asked  )

As long as the rest of your lineup for this week is set (for example, you don't have any GTD's where you may have to put in Jackson in a pinch), I'd pick up Keith. He'll give you much more consistent production, and would be a much better option for you if you make the playoffs.

Good luck!
