kac1 0 Posted October 25, 2007 Would you do the following in a standard scoring ESPN league? The owner has both Peyton and Brady and the rest of his roster isn't so good. I get: P.Manning R.Johnson I give: Plax Bush Branch Am I giving up to much for Peyton? My current roster is as follows.. QB: Rivers, Hasselbeck RB: Bush, Addai, Jacobs, Ward, Bennett WR: Plax, Stallworth, Wayne, Branch TE: Witten, Dallas Clark K: Gostkowski DEF: Pats, Chargers We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 1 Flex, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF
Go long 0 Posted October 25, 2007 I have Peyton and really like the non decision of who to play at QB every week. However, I think you are giving up too much because Rudi is becoming less of a player than he once was due to injury and the up and coming Kenny Watson. I think you need Bush. Addai may now be splitting carries with Keith and with Jacobs style of running makes him an injury risk. I know you also have Ward but he is dinged also. Plax is a beast and the other guy would love to have him but I think if you are packaging Bush you need to solidify a better RB #2 than Rudi. You also should get another mediocre receiver in case Branch is still injured.
kac1 0 Posted October 25, 2007 I countered with Barber III instead of Rudi.
Antiramie 50 Posted October 25, 2007 I thought you were getting the better deal to begin with. You might have scared him away by asking for MBIII. If he rejects the counter, I'd stick to the original deal.
