Advice on these 2 trades please, real straightforward

Ok I'm 2-5 but still not out of it believe it or not and I've been offered 2 trades here they are:

 

Offered McGahee for Addai straightup. I was thinking of upping the deal to this: McGahee/Gates for Addai/Ward/Miller. Opinions or is the McGahee for Addai a good deal.

 

Offered K. Keith for Chatman. I really want to see what Chatman can do so I was going to counter with Benson for Keith. Opinions???

The only one I kind of like is the second involving Addai. Adding Gates to it makes it look good, and the others your giving up isn't too much.

 

As far as Addai straight up for McGahee, I would not do it. Yeah, there is the talk of splitting carries here on out, but I think it is too early to tell. Even with the splits last week, Addai had a good game, and if he goes one more foot and scores on the one run, it would have been a great game. Too early to give up on Addai.

 

As for the last offer, IDK. As an Addia owner Keith might have more value to you, but straight up, Chatman has more value as a no share #1 RB now.

I likewise don't like Addai for McGahee straight up. Not time to panic on Addai, IMO. The second trade looks better, especially since you have plenty of WR depth that you can leverage, but I'd still be careful. To be honest, I haven't looked at the schedule since I don't have either player - what do McGahee's matchups look like in the upcoming weeks versus Addai's? I would be wary about moving Addai.

 

I would hold on to Chatman. I think Keith is a sell high right now. He's not getting enough carries to be a real value going forward, IMO. There are enough people desperate for RBs right now that I say you hope Chatman has a nice week and then try to shop him to somebody else looking for an RB.

the first trade is a tough one and i'm not sure what i would do in that case.

 

as for the second, keep Chatman and try to trade Benson for Keith. I just picked up Keith off waivers and traded Benson for Chatman. I was so happy to be rid of him.

As an Addai owner, I understand why you would be a little nervous about him right now. I am really high on McGahee for a number of reasons, primarily that he gets RB1 carries and goalline carries. But that doesn't change the fact that Baltimore's offense is horrible right now, so although McGahee gets goalline carries, it might only be every few games that BAL gets there. Even if Addai only gets half the goalline carries from here on out, he's going to get more TDs than McGahee. So, I would wait it out.

 

I also don't think you want to give up Chatman for Keith right now. Or, at least you should get Keith and another TE or something for Chatman. There is no way you can give up a RB1 for a backup, and Addai should be healthy from this point out. I'd wait to trade Chatman for something more.

The only one I'd even consider is the multiple player deal with getting Gates as well. Addai is too good to trade straight up for McGahee

I would try and up the deal to get Gates like you said, but I'm not sure he will go for it. As for Addai vs McGahee straight up, I would keep Addai. I own him as well. I like running backs in high powered offenses. More goal line chances.

Dont trade straight up. Mcgahee has huge upside but work something in to get Gates and your team will be back on its feet...

I don't like any of those trades from your standpoint. Absolutely no way I'd give Addai for McGahee straight up. I don't even like the deal if I got Gates, because Miller is actually looking comparable at this point in time. Remember, he gets A LOT of endzone looks from Big Ben.

 

Chatman is also more valuable than Keith, being a starting RB.

I think Addai for McGahee straight up is fair. But if you can work it to get Gates as well then go for it. Guess it depends how desperate the other team is for Ward. More power to you though if he goes for it.

yeah you don't want to give up addai for mcgahee. that is a bit lopsided with you on the short end. if you can dump keith for chatman, why not. i'd go for it. Thanks for the help on mine
