1st post! Trade help..

Recommended Posts

Greetings all! I want to say a quick hello. I've been browsing these forums for a while now, and I am finally able to post!! Anyways, here is my dilema:

I would be giving up D. Ward/J. Walker for K. Curtis. I would then be trading K. Curtis for Tony Gonzales. I then could probably move Chris Cooley and Kurt Warner for Palmer.

What do you guys think about each of these moves? I am 4-3, and in great shape to make the playoffs. I am looking to solidify my TE and QB positions.

Here is my team now. We get .5 points per reception. Start QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/K/D

QB: K. Warner/Jeff Garcia/Jay Cutler

WR:TJ Housh/Reggie Wayne/Andre Davis/Chris Henry/Javon Walker

RB: Willie Parker/Frank Gore/Jamal Lewis/Ladell Betts/Derrick Ward

TE: Chris Cooley

K: Adam Vinatieri

D: Ravens/Broncos

Any input is highly appreciated. Leave a link and I will do my best to help you out as well.

It's basically D. Ward/J. Walker for C Palmer at the end. If so, that's a good trade in my opinion. Although I'd be hesitant to trade Curtis straight up for Gonzo since I think you might be able to get more for him. But if Palmer is the end product, it might be worth it for you because you need to upgrade your QB. Good luck!

Agreed, seems like a good deal. Ward and Walker are doing you no good injured on the bench. A lot of moving parts in this trade though for guys you don't have the rights to yet. What if the guy that has Plamer gets cold feet?

Good point...what if he does get cold feet? With the offensive line problems in WAS i feel Cooley is at his peak....Do you guys feel Gonzales is a decent upgrade? Or not worth it for Kurtis?

Well I did the deal...still waiting on the Palmer trade. I think if he does get cold feet, I can still make some moves to come out way ahead.

Thanks for the help
