Trade: Maroney for Roethlisberger?

I have been offered Ben Roethlisberger for Laurence Maroney and am not sure what to do.

Alternately, I may be able to offer Priest Holmes and Eli Manning for Big Ben.

 

My RB's are:

Reggie Bush

Kenny Watson

Rudi Johnson

Cedric Benson

Laurence Maroney

Priest Holmes

 

Let me know what you think I should do.

I think I'd rather do the Priest/Manning deal simply because it allows you to keep Maroney and only costs you Priest, in a sense, because I am assuming you can't start both Manning and Big Ben.

Your RBs are not the best, but quite frankly Maroney doesn't add that much for you. The Patriots seem like they forget they even have a running game half the time. I'd take it. Ben's a stud this year.

Big Ben would be an upgrade at QB over Eli for sure. But if you can do this without giving up Maroney, I'd do it. If the guy is set with Maroney, then do it anyways... he's banged up and Big Ben will light it up against Cleveland this week.

i would do the trade, roth is going to continue to be a stud this year and maroney hasn't done anything, considering all the pats do is pass....do it....thanks for mine...

If this is a redraft league I would do what it takes to get Big Ben. I would for sure rather give Priest/Manning but if it is Maroney he wants then do it.

 

If this is a keeper or dynasty league I would not give up Maroney. I would offer the Priest/Manning trade but not Maroney.

I think you need to make this trade. Big Ben's upcoming schedule is way too good. I don't think Maroney's marginal added value over your other RBs equals the production Ben will give you over Eli. That said, if he takes Priest instead, then do that.

I would do the Eli/Holmes deal. I don't think Holmes will get enough carries, even if Johnson is out for an extended period.

i'd dew the priest/manning deal...maroney will get healthy this year, ben is definitely an upgrade over eli, and priest...he's 75 yds/game, a td every other... what about mine?

do the deal...if you can give up holmes/manning first and then if he doesn't bite go w/ Maroney.

the pats don't run it.

big ben is a huge upgrade and you can get by w/ Bush and Watson/Rudi
