Trade & Pickups. How'd I do?

I traded Kitna for Fargas. And picked up Chris Henry and dropped The Raiders and James Jones.

 

QB and 2RBs, 2 WRs were pretty set, and I wanted to shore up my flex. Now Fargas, Holmes, and Chris Henry will rotate at flex. And maybe Patten.

 

But did I just give myself a Too Many Choices Headache for setting my lineup every week? Who am I going to go with??

 

It's a solid team if Romo doesnt go down. If he does, I'm screwed.

Romo is a surefire must start the rest of the way, so Kitna for Fargas is a good deal. Any additional RB depth is always a good thing. I had Fargas stashed away weeks ago and he got me a good start last week, and had Chester Taylor buried deep on my roster for the last 6 weeks, and now that depth is going to pay off as well, so for a QB you weren't gonna start anyway, yeah, that's a solid deal.

 

Did you only pick up one and drop two? Or were there other players you'd picked up and you just didn't list them?

 

At any rate, getting Chris Henry now is a good pickup, especially for dropping the Raiders when you can put the Giants out there every week or put in Indy if the matchup is good.

 

I don't think you have a headache, but you'll want to consult the numbers and see which matchups are best for your flex guys with no clear standout for that position. I'd lean towards Fargas as a nice flex unless a solid WR matchup presents itself or Henry shows he's able to go full speed right away.

thanks for the reply! ya, i hope youre right. Ive been trying to trade Kitna for weeks, but then he had that rough stretch. i do like Fargas, but I had just nabbed Holmes last week, and even tho im concerned about his durability, i was wondering if i maybe made one deal too many. i just hope to hell Romo survives the season intact. i call probably pick up Rivers as a backup. hes been weak, but has a lot of talent behind him.

 

 

no, we add/drop 1 for 1. i picked up Henry and the Colts and dropped Jones and the Raiders. then of course injuries hit the Colts D, but whatre ya gonna do. we have to hang onto any FA pickup for 2 weeks, so maybe i shouldnt have taken the Indy.
