SteelerJake 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I've been riding Hass all year pretty much. Grabbed Warner of the WW in week 8 or 9 just for his playoff matchups (SEA,NO,ATL). Now it's decision time, do I start Warner over Hass this week which was the plan or stick with Hasselbeck which should put up consistent numbers, but Warner could blow up (if he can stay under center)....any thoughts guys? Leave a link and I'll try to help ya out. Thx
IndyFan 2 Posted December 15, 2007 Go Warner. Arizona vs NO will be a shootout since neither team can play defense

dkennedy25 0 Posted December 15, 2007 If Boldin and Fitzgerald play, go with Warner. If not, Hasselbeck.
philssteelers200 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Agree with dkennedy. Should be a shootout, but I'd be wary of Warner without his two big receivers. Hass is pretty steady, while Warner can blow up or implode. Mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=306248
CornKobb 48 Posted December 15, 2007 i love warners matchup but the gimpy wr's and warners inconsistency makes me lean toward hass. seattle still cant run the ball and hass is gonna pass pass pass......imo help me please... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=306249
nygiants 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I've been riding Hass all year as well and am sticking with him. Warner is just too inconsistent. He throws too many int's and fumbles too much. Yes he has the potential for big games but it's not worth the risk. Plus he gets hurt often. With that said, I'm a bit nervous about Hass because it's supposed to be very windy in Carolina Sunday. Got a roll with him though.
kermitfunk 0 Posted December 15, 2007 I would go with Hass just because of the injury factor to Arizona's WRs and you never know when Warner will get sacked and injured. Take your 15-20 points and run. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=306251
Ras66not99 0 Posted December 15, 2007 not to sway your mind here from the others, but with those high winds in Carolina this week I think I'd roll the dice with Warner.... I always like the fact that my QB is playing against someone that can score points and play back at you which could lead to a VERY GOOD GAME.... Carolina has been TERRIBLE where the Saints can score back at ya... I'm in a similar situation (without the bad weather factor like you) but I have Palmer and I was debating about getting Warner in there just because SF can't score for their a$$ and I can see that being a Rudi Johnson clock grinder in the 4th quarter while odds are Warner will be slinging in the 4th quarter of a close game, or playing a little catch-up in a nice comfy DOME.... If Palmer was playing in bad conditions I would no doubt go with Warner, but on national TV I'm having a hard time putting him on the bench..... if I was in your spot I'd go with Warner over Hass.... my $0.2 Good Luck
Ras66not99 0 Posted December 15, 2007 Warner is just too inconsistent. not sure why everyone thinks this In his last 5 games.... 337 with 3 Td's 169 with 2 Td's 484 with 2 Td's 211 with 2 Td's 259 with 3 Tds I see nothing Inconsistent there.... I would reconsider if you get crazy point deductions for Int's and fumbles, but he's pretty consistant fantasy wise
