Hey guys. I just finished drafting in one of my leagues. It's a 10-team PPR league with 2 keepers. Starters are: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 D/ST, 1 K. Here is my team.

 

QB - Drew Brees

RB - Marion Barber, Reggie Bush, Earnest Graham, Matt Forte, Chris Johnson

WR - Torry Holt, Roy Williams, Santonio Holmes, Calvin Johnson, Bernard Berrian, Patrick Crayton

TE - Jeremy Shockey

D/ST - Steelers

K - Gostkowski

 

How did I do? Any thoughts? Thanks for the help.

Being a PPR you should be pretty damn solid. That almost looks as good as my draft. Good job.

Pretty good draft. Great depth at WR's with Holt, R. Williams, and Holmes. Pretty solid on RB's even though I'm not too high on either R. Bush nor Graham (though Bush probably has a better value at a PPR league, and Graham is not bad as a #2 RB). I think Chris Johnson is a great pick. And you're set with Brees as your QB.

I love your depth at WR. You should be set. I would stick with what you have and keep an eye on the waivers for any up and comers.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm not too high on Bush either in a standard league. But in a PPR league he was too hard to pass up. Hopefully Chris Johnson can become another one of those big playmakers too. I think he'll get a decent share of carries this year, but he's going to add more in the passing game.....hopefully.

Yea, you are stacked at WR. But Calvin and Roy are gonna kill you. one will blow up one week, then the other will suck, your gonna bench the one that sucks then he will be the one that blows up that week! haha

I agree on the Roy/Calvin "problem" but also agree it's a problem I'd love to have!

 

Nice solid RB corps with a great kicker and good DST. I also think Shockey will have a good year this year.

Solid team. Wondering how bad the other teams in your league must be if you compiled that one. I think Calvin Johnson may end up being your #1 WR by the time the season's over. Really good job!

I agree, very nice team; however, I would use some of your depth at rb and maybe one of your 2nd tier wr's to bolster up your wr corp to obtain a top tier WR. Other than that, a nice 10 team draft.
