BarNinja 1 Posted September 17, 2008 So far I've just picking DEFs up based on match-ups. I had ARI for 2 weeks, dropped them and picked up KCs next 2 opponents. My TE position has given me .9 pts in two weeks (where'd you go Fasano!) I have managed to score league high pts both weeks. Can I continue to scoot around picking Ds going against terrible teams? I want to try to get a solid TE but everyone who has a good one, is not willing to trade. If I need to solidify, who should go up for trade? I want Maroney and JuJones off my team but don't think they will be very enticing trade bait. Jones is about to take a sharp decline when Morris comes back in week 5. I'm thinking about offering one of those two plus one of my WRs for Jacobs and Cooley. Smart move or should I just keep riding the hot hand. If it ain't broke... 12-man, PPR league, start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1W/R, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF. All TDs=6, bonuses for W/R at 100 & 200 yds, bonus for QB at 250 & 400yds: QB: Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers RB: Brian Westbrook, Chris Johnson, Julius Jones, Lawrence Maroney WR: Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin, Hines Ward, DeSean Jackson, David Patten TE: Anthony Fasano K: Jeff Reed DEF: ATL, DEN (only because they are KC's next two)

Id pick one and drop the other.. if someone else grabs them that week look for a better D playing oakland, stl, miami etc... as far as upgrading the TE spot there are so many good TE's that someone has to be willing to trade. is carlson on the WW? if he is drop one of thoise defenses for him. as far as a trade try moving hines ward while his value is high or maybe package rodgers with julius jones for a rb and te. please see mine
celloshane 0 Posted September 17, 2008 ATL isn't a completely awful D, you could probably get by with them for most even matchups. I'm with WhiteWonder, try to package Rodgers and Jones; you might be suprised what you can get. Thanks for mine.
bnpuconn 0 Posted September 17, 2008 Julius Jones value is at it's highest right now...try packaging him with either rodgers or desaun and see what you can pick up for a TE. You'll be solid. thanks for mine.
2fingers 0 Posted September 17, 2008 I agree with both previous posts. I think if your willing to trade Rogers and Jones or Maroney you could pull in a top 10 TE to reinforce that position.

This is exactly what I was thinking, so it must be a good idea! You should be able to find someone weak at both qb and/or wr and land a nice TE with this offer.
