shicks3781 0 Posted September 24, 2008 I'm in a Dynasty League, my widerecievers have done poorly this season, and I need some advice. I have R. Williams Det, R. Moss NE, and D. Bowe KC. We start two recievers would you do this trade? My players: R. Williams wr and J. Whitten te for A. Boldin wr and J. Carlson te Leave a link and I'll try to answer your question. dalie 2 Posted September 24, 2008 I don't think I would......Witten is FAR better than Carlson, esp in the long run due to Carlson losing looks to new WR's at least some....and Witten has Romo, and Williams and Boldin are some what of a wash (anything you would gain with Boldin would be erased plus some by losing Witten) Thanks for mine
pit fan 0 Posted September 24, 2008 I think Boldin is an upgrade from Williams, but as the last guy said, you have a huge drop off from Witten to Carlson. You are weak at WR so if there is another TE you can pick up or if your gut says go with Boldin then I say do it. Good luck and please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=325659
Criper 24 Posted September 24, 2008 In a dynasty, I'd give it some thought, as I think Carlson will be pretty good down the road, but who knows where Boldin will be next year and who will be throwing him the rock. There's uncertainty there, if you are thinking long term. In the short term, I wouldn't make this trade based on the current season, and Boldin's uncertainty for next year (new team, possible #1 WR on a new team) is enough for me to also pass right now. Good luck, and thanks for mine.
Tommy Boy 0 Posted September 24, 2008 No, no, no. Stick with your players. Losing Witten, arguably the best TE in fantasy, will do you no good especially in a dynasty league where he will produce for another 5-8 years. thanks for answering my post.
