Some Trade Advice

Recommended Posts

Standard scoring.

Start 2RB, 2WR, 1Flex (RB/WR)

Here's the trade:

Mine: M. Turner (ATL RB), B. Edwards (CLE WR), E. Graham (TB RB)

Rest of team: SJax , L White, Fargas, D Sproles, S Morris, S Holmes, DBowe, A Bryant

His: S. Smith (CAR WR), B. Jacobs (NYG RB), E. Royal (DEN WR)

Rest of team: TJones, S Young, R Mendenhall, LJ, T.O., W Welker, L Evans, D Stallworth, B Engram

Kept Braylon Edwards in my dynasty league but have been disappointed with his performance.

Been pretty surprised at Turner's production but arguably has faced his two easiest opponents.

Lendale is questionable this week, Fargas is out for the next couple of weeks too.

What are you thoughts on this trade?

I like the trade, except that it's going to leave you extremely light on RB depth for a while. Half your bench is useless right now and Turner's the only guy who's not in a time share (or crippled by his team like SJax). Did you plan to start SJax and Jacobs? I'd think long and hard about where this trade leaves you at RB before you pull the trigger.

This is a tough package to pitch, because you want to sell high on Turner but aren't getting much value for Edwards, given how lousy he's been. I would wait and see what happens Sunday. If Edwards has a great day, you'll get a lot more for him. And if you really want to get something out of Turner from this guy, I'd pitch Turner to him for Smith or TO straight-up. Sell high like whoa.

The big problem with the trade is that I don't think it meets your need. You're trading away two good RBs and getting back one RB somewhere in the middle of them, which doesn't help with Lendale and Fargas' injuries. You get Steve Smith, but with Holmes and Bowe, you already have decent depth at WR. I think there are too many variables for it to really be a sure thing trade.
