LandenChase 0 Posted November 8, 2008 ARI will put up serious points which will mean SF will be playing from behind. I think Hill will be airing it out rather than pounding the rock with Gore. The weather in CHI is awful which means the running game will be primarily used. I know the TEN DEF is tough, but I think Forte can do some damage in this low soring, tough weather contest...Leave a link.

Sure I agree that Gore might not get alot if the 49ers are playing from behind, although he could end up with 15 carries and 6-8 receptions but if the weather is bad in Chicago that really lends itself to a very low scoring game like 13-10 I just dont see the Bears moving the ball against the Titans much, if Forte is to score it will be because of a Titans turnover in their own territory. I'd take my chances with Gore scoring a garbage time TD before i'd play Forte. Just my opinion Good Luck Please see mine, I actually have 2 of them going... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=332425 Peace...
HIW 0 Posted November 8, 2008 Man, tough choice. However, I'd go GORE. TENN is tough on the run.... thanks for mine!
ping 0 Posted November 8, 2008 I hear your reasoning, but I'd still go with Gore. Forte and Gore are about even in rushing and receiving. Gore is actually averaging more yards/catch than Forte. I could be completely wrong...wouldn't be the first time...but I'd go with Gore against SF as he's likely to stay involved in the offense (possibly with more receiving) if they are down to AZ. If they are "in" the game, SF should keep feeding Gore the ball. Chicago, on the other hand, is facing a very strong D and starting a backup QB in Grossman. Tennessee's first obligation under this scenario should be to shutdown Forte...especially if the weather is bad. justagrl 0 Posted November 8, 2008 As a Titans fan from Nashville... I wouldn't start Forte if I were you. Tennessee has one of (if not the best) defenses in football and if you have another stud (in your case Gore) to start in Forte's place. Then use that stud! rsekine 0 Posted November 8, 2008 I would go with Gore because SF need to keep the ball away from Warner, so they have to run. IF they get behind, Gore can play every down and catch some ball for you too. Titans D too tough.
jdibella 0 Posted November 9, 2008 I would go with Gore. I don't think Forte will be able to do much against a stingy Titans defense. Thanks for mine.
