Texansfan 0 Posted September 10, 2009 My team: Peyton MJD, T.Jones, L.Washington, L.McCoy, D.Brown, T.Hightower, W.McGahee C.Johnson, D.Bowe, De.Jackson, D.Mason Been offered Marion Barber & Lee Evans for Dwayne Bowe & LeSean McCoy (Westbrook owner). Barber is nice to add depth at RB, but I'm not a huge Lee Evans guy so my WRs take a hit. Should I pull the trigger on this trade?
Jaxie 0 Posted September 10, 2009 I wouldn't... I'm not a fan of Evans. I think you're fine at RB (at least for now) and your WRs would take too much of a hit. Wait 'til Westbrook gets hurt (which I'm actually hoping DOESN'T happen because I have him, but we'll see). If/when that happens you might be able to get something better than Lee Evans. whitey2876 0 Posted September 10, 2009 I was just reading somewhere that Dalls is going to try to do a 50/50 split in touches/carries for Barber and Jones this year. Possibly lining them up together in the backfield at times. Now McCoy isn't going to give you much either but I'm not so sure I would really want Barber. The WR is a concern for me as well. You do take a hit with Evans. I would stick with what you have. Good Luck! Please see mine! Texansfan 0 Posted September 10, 2009 Thanks guys. That's what I'm thinking too. It's tempting, but I really like Bowe this year. I have 2 solid starters at RB with MJD & Jones. And I'm sure at least 1 of my other 5 RBs will pan out at some point this season!
