Forte trade?

Recommended Posts

I am debating trading Mike Bell and Felix Jones for Matt Forte?????

i have Marion Barber so Felix value is higher to me than most and Forte's schedule down stretch is bad.

it was offered to me should i take it

Tough to say without knowing the rest of your backs. Bell has an easy schedule and could be huge if PT goes down. Jones could be a fator when Barber goes down. On the other side I do see Forte getting 10ts a game from here on out. The bears will make some changes after this weekend and it starts with giving the to Forte..handoffs and check downs. No more 40 yd bombs on 3rd down :dunno:

my backs are: Sjax, Barber, Jonathan Stewart, Felix Jones, Mike Bell, Reggie Bush, Maroney and you really have to start 3 backs to win. The only thing that is stopping me from doing it is if Barber goes down im in big trouble.

thanks

B/c you have Barber also I would not do this trade for Forte. Forte only has RB2 potential from hereon out.

The wording was unclear but it sounds like you would be getting rid of Forte. No I would not do this. Bell and Jones are second fiddle in backfield committees and are at least as injury prone as the starters they relieve. Forte has a good chance of putting up high end RB2 numbers each game whereas the other two are more hit and miss.

no i would be getting Forte. :dunno: The only reason i am asking is because i have Barber and really like to have Felix as insurance.

i just clicked accept so it is done  I cant worry about injuries.

me and the guy im trading with always make trades and i always feel im getting the best of it and something always happens where he comes out in good. we just made a big trade 2 weeks ago where i traded him Aaron Rodgers, Donald Brown, Garrard and Owen Daniels. I received Romo, Barber, and Cooley. And now Cooley is done and Daniels has gotten him over 40 points the last 2 weeks.

last year i got Addai and LT from him in differ leagues and you all know how those worked :dunno: Its like the little bastard knows whats gonna happen

i like that side of the trade... as bad as forte has been i still think he has more value than a guy in a rb3 roster.. and felix who isnt ever more than a flex guy because of limited touches
