ackattack 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I need a bye week replacement for Carson Palmer. I had Shaun Hill and since his demotion I picked up Alex Smith on tuesday and cut Hill. I have some other options on the waiver wire.... Derek Anderson @ CHI Mark Bulger @ DET Jake Delhomme @ ARI Ryan Fitzpatrick vs HOU I dont know Anderson has what some might call a strong play versus a banged up secondary for the Bears...but I kind of feel the Bears need this win badly. Bulger may be a decent option against a def in Detroit that gets a little better each week. Jake may not play and if so has a tough match up in Arizona.... Fitzpatrick may be a pretty safe option with very little upside. I havent got alot of points from my QB position unitl recently with Palmer. My record is 3-4 in my league...but the good news is everyone in my division is 3 -4. But I have won 3 of my last 4 games so hopefully the trend will continue. I hope I wont need a ton of points from my QB..I need a pretty safe average day which is around 14 to 18 pts in my league. skinsfan9 0 Posted October 30, 2009 Gee, the only one on your list that I might even consider over A Smith is maybe Bulger,just don't know if he has enough healthy weapons to get you to that 15-20 pts you need.
