Jeepz 0 Posted September 17, 2010 I had Grant in my family league. I didn't get BJax. Right now I've got MJD and Foster, Caddy and BScott on the bench. I'm worried about my RB depth (until BScott takes over for CedBen). M. Bush is sitting there on waivers. Would you drop McCluster to pick up MBush for depth? I have Wallace, Floyd, TO and Clayton for WR depth (behind Megatron and DJax). I don't *need* McCluster, but as a Cheifs fan, I like having him on my bench. Am I being stupid? Should I drop him and pick up MBush for depth? Do I need MBush? Is he worth dropping McCluster? Leave a link! Thanks!
josepaz2 1 Posted September 17, 2010 What positions do you get to start? Flex/no flex?
Jeepz 0 Posted September 17, 2010 Ah, right. 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST
dumbassmax2001 0 Posted September 17, 2010 I don't think that move would hurt you any. I fear that McFadden will put up great numbers again this week, which will at least get him a bettter time share even when Bush comes back. Then again, you really can't rely on McCluster week in and week out. I would do it. Thanks for anwering mine.
ChiTownKev 0 Posted September 17, 2010 I think I would. I'm really not that high on Michael Bush, but I could foresee a situation when you would use him a lot sooner than a situation in which you'd use McCluster.
ziggyschiefs 0 Posted September 17, 2010 as a fellow chiefs fan i understand your predicament in letting Dexter go, but if you want the RB depth, go with Bush. he will eventually get the touches and should help you out. either way, you probably won't have to play them much but i'd rather have an extra RB than an extra WR. you gotta put your fan feelings to the side thanks for mine. go chiefs! Ahhh, a brethren! Thanks for your comments, they went a long way in letting me make the decision. Hopefully I won't have to play a dreaded Raider, but I feel the RB depth is so much harder to come by. I can't imagine anyone running right out and grabbing Dex (in a non-return league) so he could be there later if I really want him back. Still, it was good to hear a fellow Chiefs fan say it was ok

Dex probably will end up being like Dante Hall with T. Jones and J. Charles ahead of him
madd futher mucker 36 Posted September 17, 2010 I hope this advice is not too late. Pick up M Bush but don't drop McCluster. Drop your #2QB. In a 10 teamer there are very good QBs out on the waiver wire all the time. Trust me.

Seriously, I don't *need* Palmer, and I see a few fine Week 8 matchups for when Flacco is on bye. Hmm... I've already dropped Dex, but I don't suspect anyone will claim him. I could drop Palmer, and if he's not there in Week 8 I could play someone like Bradford or Vince. Interesting. Will have to ponder this. I almost always have a backup QB (and so does much of the rest of the league, so it might be thinner than you think). You really think McCluster is worth holding onto as WR6? You really think McCluster is worth holding onto as WR6? IMO this is a no brainer! I've gone entire years and won championships rostering only one QB (Last year for example I never had anyone except Schaub except for a bye week filler. But McCluster is a special talent especially in PPR. He would likely had a receiving TD in addition to his return TD last week if he had not slipped in the endzone on the wet field. He has too much upside to throw on the waiver wire.
Jeepz 0 Posted September 18, 2010 Alright then. I dropped Dex in both leagues. In my friend league, I have Ben and Orton backing up Flacco. I have a league mate that could really want one of those two if I drop him. Which do you give up? In my family league, you're saying simply drop Palmer ... hmm....
