Shonne Greene For Mike Wallace

Would you make the trade of Shonne Green for Mike Wallace?

 

Here is my current team

 

Qbs- Eli, Roeth

RBs- CJ (ringer as handcuff), Torain, M Bush, Greene

WRS- Miles, White, Welker, Murphy, Breaston, B Tate

TE- Witten

 

I traded best and S moss for Miles to build My WR depth. With LT being so dominant right now, I am not even using Greene. Wallace has potential to be a big play receiver with Roeth back, would you do it? The depth would give me a chance to maybe even turn around and trade a WR or two for a solid RB as well. I think the trade is fair value, just not sure I should make it. would I start Greene again??

I think the trade is fair value, but it doesn't help your team at all. You don't need another WR, and your RBs after Johnson are really thin. I like Torain and Bush, but there's no guarantee that either one of them will be a featured back for the rest of the way. And it's tough to think that LT can stand up all season under this workload, so I'd expect Greene to see more carries.

 

If you're absolutely sure that you could turn around and trade some receivers for an RB upgrade after you made this deal, I'd do it. But if that doesn't work out, you'd be leaving yourself awfully thin at RB.

Wallace won't even see your line-up, except a bye week filler. Greene is arguably the 2nd best RB on your team. Torain is NOT a very talented RB. He runs upright and has pretty much zero burst. Bush is solid, but Oakland is a mess. If anything I'd try to sell high on Torain and hang onto Greene.

it a good trade but everyone right he wont ever be in your lineup kinda a useless trade, if LT goes down green a stud

This depends on your league and whether it is easy or not to make another trade. I really like Wallace instead of Greene. So in most of my leagues I DO make that trade, and then try to trade two players ( 2 WRs, or QB + WR for a significant upgrade at RB.
