Harvin & Thomas

Recommended Posts

Would you trade Percy Harvin and Mike Thomas for Rob Gronkowski?

My team is in my signature. I have the depth @ WR I believe to do this and I need a TE.

Or is that too much?

Before last week I would have said yes but if Thomas is going to be the man then no, he would be a great flex if he gets the bulk of the carries plus McFadden has an injury past and you can never have enough backs

A bit harder in terms of ppr or non-ppr, and how heavy on yardage, but:

Personally would consider it - you'll be a weaker at WR until Amendola comes back, but not sure heavily Harvin/Thomas will contribute as starters in your lineup. Just not liking their situations... Maybe a waiver pickup for some added depth/future potential to contribute is still available? Or if feel too much, doubtful but Kendricks and 1 WR instead for Gronk? Gronkowski will contribute immediately and even w/Hernandez back in possibly 2-4 weeks, will still be a good play.

Other option if you feel you're giving up too much - would be to stand pat and look at the likes of Evan Moore, Ben Watson, Scott Chandler, Gresham if any are available. Do like Kendricks potential, but might get more others (especially once Amendola comes back).

Thanks for mine!

Thanks guys for your help. Mike Thomas is the WR for the Jags, not the RB for the Dolphins.

I would definitely do it. Kendricks is not living up to his hype from preseason. I wouldn't drop him quite yet unless you need to tho. I dont expect Mike thomas to be startable this year with rookie qb taking over in jax this week (its possible he could turn into his saftey blanket but I wouldnt count on it. I love your RBs and would start 3 most weeks along with Holmes and Bryant. NFL network reported Bryant will play monday night and you have Nelson in a pinch with Amendola coming back sooner rather than later.

This was my thinking. I think my top three WR's are going to be Holmes, Bryant and Nelson. I have 4 legit RBs to use as well for 3 spots. I need a TE. Thanks for your input!

I would definitely make that trade as well, the two WRs you give up aren't going to play for you anyway especially once Amendola comes back
