Madler 6 Posted October 13, 2011 Standard scoring league: RB: need 2 of 3 Shonn Greene v. Miami R. Torain v. Philly F. Jones v. Pats Leaning towards Torain and Jones, but worried that Shanahan might go back to running Hightower since he is supposedly healthy after the bye. But Philly's run defense is horrible WR: need 1 R. Meachum v. Bucs H. Ward v. Jags Not sure on this. Since Colston has returned, Meachum has not scored a TD like he did in first three weeks. Steelers were terrible until last week , when Big Ben went to shorter routes and hit Ward for two TD's. Do they stick to that game plan this week? Plus Big Ben is my QB Leave a link and I will answer yours.
jlippy1976 0 Posted October 13, 2011 I think you go away from using Shonn Greene. They just can not run the ball in NY. I have Jones and Hightower right now and Im watching the situation in Wash closely. Shanahan is a fantasy owners nightmare. Torain may be the right play. In both of my leagues Ward was sent to waivers before last weeks 2td performance. I think you ride Ward this week. Brees loves Graham, Colston and Sproles in that order. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=392465
mlucky143 0 Posted October 13, 2011 Hightower was limited in practice according to paper (I'm in DC) not a good sign off a bye week so would go with Torain and Greene. Not a big Jones fan, think Dallas will pass on NE and Jets will try and pound the ball on Mia. Ward and hope for the 2 for 1 combo in points
boilernos 0 Posted October 13, 2011 Start Jones and Green, until Torain proves he 1. is the starter & 2. he won't get hurt. Receivers - I think you have to go Meachem.
ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 13, 2011 i would go with jones for sure. greene is tough to start but i'm scared of the situation in was. still, torain had a great game and i don't see them going totally away from him, though it is shanahan. i would go with ward. so many mouths to feed in n.o. If not, go with Meachem & pray.
Teren 2 Posted October 15, 2011 I would go Torain and not have a second thought. He looked fantastic in his last game and Shannahan saw it. For the other RB I would go Greene I think he can have a good game this week. Cowboys could be down early and have to go with the passing game. For wr I would go Hines Ward. No specific reason I don't think either are too good of plays Thanks for your reply

Yesterday, I dropped Meachum for Little. You would play him over Ward. I think Pitt found that the short passing game is where they need to stay, although I am intrigued with Little
ralphster 274 Posted October 15, 2011 Greene and Jones. I don't trust Shanahan RBs. Meachum: He's due. mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=392672
