PPR Boldin, Marshall, Nicks, Bennett

Recommended Posts

Recently made some trades to hopefully make my team better. Traded Julio Jones for Chris Johnson(genius move so far) Baltimore's defense for Boldin, and marshawn lynch for Nicks. Now for the first time this season I have options at WR. It's a PPR league with a 5pt bonus at 5 receptions my options are

Marshall

Boldin

Nicks

Bennett

David Nelson

Austin(out)

Right now I have Marshall, Boldin, and Bennett going but I am wondering if Nicks is worth playing this week? I think I would replace Bennett with Nicks but Bennett has been Cutler's go to guy and caught 6 of the 9 completions Cutler threw last week. I was thinking of benching Boldin this week but now with Leon Hall out for Cincy his matchup got a whole bunch easier.

What do you guys think?

bennett may be his go to guy, but can you really trust cutler? And it's only been two weeks so far, who knows how long that lasts. Marshall definitely. boldin as well. And you have to play nicks, hes just too good not to. the giants are gonna look to run up the score on the eagles.

I think you can trust cutler as of late. Nicks is going to have namdi on him for most of his day which is why I am hesitant about starting him. Also in my league catching 5 balls is as important as touchdowns nicks got 12.1 pts in my league last week and bennett got me 21.1 yet nicks scored a TD. I think Bennett is more of a lock to get 5 catches then Nicks and that is why I am unsure of who to play.

Thanks for the reply regarding Gore or Hunter. I would start Gore.

I would definitely go with Nicks. Thus far, he has 40 receptions and is tied with Cruz. Besides you know that Manning will air the ball against Philly. I don't trust Cutler at all... not too consistent.

The Huddle and SI both have Bennett scoring higher which is why I am leaning towards him. Nicks has Cruz and Manningham taking attention from manning where Bennett is pretty much the only reciever Cutler has. I'm starting to think that I can't really go wrong
