In my standard league I have some wide receivers sitting on my bench that aren't producing

 

Emmanuel Sanders and Chris Givens

 

Does Justin Blackmon hold better value than either of the two receivers listed above?

I would say it's a toss up with Givens and Blackmon. Givens has looked decent at times and Blackmon is a Jaguar. Any given Sunday.

I dump Givens in a second for Blackmon, Pettis is Bradfords go to guy and Austin will only get better... Givens is out. Blackmon was better than Dez in College and had a great off season and preseason. He will get his targets on a crappy team playing catch up every game. Shorts is already the most targeted WR in the league right now and Blackmon clearly out played him down the stretch last year. Cant believe Blackmon is available in your league

Thanks. I immediately snagged Blackmon with that response. It seems like he is one of those decisions that I wait a week to make and he is snagged the next week b4 me on the waiver wire.

I picked up Blackmon a couple of weeks ago. Even if he doesn't produce immediately, I am hoping he can eventually become a WR3/flex option for me.

 

Blackmon has a ton of upside. I think its safe to say that the Jags will be coming from behind for the majority of the season and that means plenty of downfield chucking. If Henne can somehow work his way in to the lineup, then Blackmon has a chance to be fantasy gold.
