Which side of this trade is better?

I have been trying to shop MJD in my league, but no one will bite. It looks like I will need to dangle a bigger carrot. I am looking to upgrade at WR and QB for the playoffs, so the trade I am thinking of offering is as follows (0.5 ppr):

 

Give - Zac Stacy, Antonio Gates, Phillip Rivers, Chiefs DST

 

Get - Andre Johnson, Aaron Rodgers, Danny Woodhead

 

The other team is using Timothy Wright/Scott Chandler at TE, has Big Ben filling in at QB, and has Chris Johnson/Darren Sproles as other RB options.

 

Concerns:

 

Will Aaron Rodgers be back healthy for the playoffs?

 

Is Rodgers a big enough upgrade over Rivers/RGIII for this to be a net benefit?

 

Any advice would be great; leave a link and I'll give my 2 cents on your questions.

I think you are giving up too many points. They players you are giving up should out score what you are receiving.

 

Rivers will come within 8 points of Rodgers and Stacey will out score Woodhead. The Chiefs def and Gates more than out score A.Johnson.

 

I wouldn't veto it, but my opinion is to not make that trade.

AJ has been on fire recently (finally living up to the hype) and his schedule looks good down the stretch. I don't think that there is a WR outside of Megatron I'd rather have for the stretch run. Unless the AJ owner is really in love with Stacy (not a huge upgrade on Woodhead in ppr) and Gates (who has cooled a bit recently), I think you'll have a tough time convincing him to make the trade.

There are reports that Rodgers could MAYBE be out even longer. Idk man he was spotty before the injury. I'd ride Rivers and try to get a different player in place of A Rod

Not knowing what the rest of your team looks like, if you really need to upgrade at WR, I'd maybe just try trading Stacy for Johnson straight up.
