On the surface this seems obvious, but this is a league in which we get to keep 2 players. I have already clinched a playoff birth and I should have a good chance to win a championship. I doubt that I would end up keeping DeAngelo so really I am going to either accept or decline this trade depending on whether It will help me over the next three weeks.

Thanks. That helps a lot.

I'm doing my first ever draft that includes IDP tonight. What are the basics??? What round do defensive players start getting picked??? How important are IDPs in relation to RBs, WRs, etc???
-
I've got Adrian Peterson, but I wasn't able to get Chester Taylor in the draft. I am trying to trade for him. Is this a good trade for me?: I get Chester Taylor and Maurice Morris He gets DeAngelo Williams and Andre Hall. I've got really good RBs (AP, MBIII, Jamal Lewis, Edge) so none of these players I am trading away or for would start anytime soon unless there are some big injuries. So basically I am debating whether it is worth it to give up Williams and Hall to get a handcuff for AP. thanks

Although what he's saying may seem a little farfetched, the facts/numbers are undeniable. But his articles won't make me take Adrian Peterson out of my top ten RBs simply because it is impossible to predict who should be in the top ten instead of him. The odds of picking one of the four RBs who will repeat seem much better than the odds of picking the RBs who will replace the other 6. Plus, players who weren't in the top ten last year will tend to be drafted later so you can just pick them a round or two later. I hope he's not right though. In one of my leagues I've got Adrian Peterson, Marion Barber, Jamal Lewis, and Edgerrin James as my RBs.

keep johnson, with martz as the OC he should at least put up decent #'s i could use some advice too http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126

Your first four picks look great, and LenDale in the 5th isn't bad, but Eli Manning and Garrard in the 6th and 7th seem like reaches to me. I don't know what other QBs had been drafted, but it seems like you might've been able to get some more value a round or two later. Tatum Bell in the 9th and Greg Olsen in the 11th also seem like small reaches. Overall, though, your team looks pretty good. i could use some advice too http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126

I don't totally understand your leagues rules, but from what I can understand it seems to me like keeping Romo and Colston would be a good idea. Romo and Colston are both just entering their primes and will be in the top 5 at their respective positions for the next 3-5 years, IMO. Rebuilding with McFadden and Forte is tempting but I would rather have the relatively sure things of Romo and Colston as opposed to the chance of McFadden and Forte becoming fantasy studs. i could use some advice too http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126

Keeper? S. Holmes, B. Marshall or Roethlisberger
philibuster01 replied to canister's topic in A Little Help!
I would go with marshall. he may be a bigger risk, especially this year, but he could eventually be a top 5 WR for the next 3-6 years if he stays out of trouble and continues to improve along with Jay Cutler. I don't see the steelers being as successful this year with their passing game so I would say marshall. i could use some help too: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126 -
i like jackson too unless he holds out for a long time. If both are gone Moss or frank gore would be pretty good options. 1. Jackson 2. Addai 3. Frank Gore 4. Moss i could use some advice too: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126

Definitely Jones-Drew, he'll be good this year and great when Fred Taylor runs out of gas soon. After that it depends on whether you think you can win this year or are trying to build for the future. If you think you can win this year and want to go for it I would keep Witten. He's very consistent and will almost certainly be one of the top 3 TEs. Brown on the other hand is coming off of knee surgery and there isn't much precedent for RBs doing well the year after a knee injury. There's also been rumors out of Dolphins camp that Ricky Williams will take carries from Brown even if brown is healthy. In two or three years from now though Brown could be great. i could use some advice http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126

i'd go with portis. i think the redskins offense will be much improved this year with portis as the workhorse. he may be older and have more miles on him, but he's not old. Gore on the other hand is younger but has more injury history and is on a bad team with a new OC who wants to throw all the time. Gore may have more potential, but i think portis is much safer and almost guaranteed to get 1300 yds and 10-12 tds. i need some help too. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318126
